From personal experience I have found Shurgard is not secure. Your belongings are not safe. They are prone to robberies. Be warned. They work from a script, they tell you "oh, we had one issue but that was last winter/summer, but nothing since" - they bend the truth. There are LOTS of issues *broken gates - anyone can walk in *magnets on main doors broken - anyone can walk in *criminals take out a one month £1 deal, then rob the units with valuables in them THEY SAY THEY HAVE CCTV - this is only for the lift and entrances -THEY REFUSE to GO THROUGH CCTV when there is a robbery "sorry, we can look at one or two points, but not more". They will not look at days, they will look at specific times. DO you go to your unit daily or weekly? How would you know when the robbery happened -THEY SAY "Get Insurance" - it pays max £2000, and they squabble about EVERY claim THIS COMPANY IS DODGY THE STAFF WORK TO A SCRIPT YOU WOULD HAVE MORE BACKING FROM RYANAIR THAN THIS MOB AVOID or PAY THE

Great experience with the Romford shuggard! I have been with them for almost a year and never had any problem with them! Great customer services excellent storage space and accessibility Clean environment Happy doing business with you and hope to use your services in the near future.

I recently used Shurgard for a 50sq ft storage unit (Customer No.733534). The process was simple and quick. Shurgard seem to have good deals and I took my unit when they had a 50% off promotion. I got my entire contract at half price! I've used Access before also, down the road in Barking (Customer No. 660777). Friendly staff, but too expensive. Shurgard also seems bigger, must be how the units are laid out. I'd recommend this company to anyone; safe, secure, big and with the right offer very affordable!

Excellent and very quick service. Try and organise your own storage insurance through private insurance, you may get it for free as long as you tell them!
