Absolutely disgusting service 2 hrs late picking my disabled mum up to take her to her day care centre, pick up was for 5 pm mum was still waiting at 6.45 pm when my brother and elderly father had to pick her up to take her home. Dont use this taxi firm Im fuming . Cant even give them one star !!!!! But I have to for it to let me post this !

Since the takeover I've had drivers who don't know where they're going / cannot use the satnav / cannot speak English - so I cannot even give them directions to where I want to go. I've had 2 nasty experiences with aggressive male drivers. I reported them to City but they weren't interested. I was told by City that the latter driver is known for his bad behaviour - yet they still employ him. I'm not sure if it's mainly women who targeted by the drivers? I have taxis that have security cameras in them now as an insurance that the drivers behave themselves. I've also had drivers who prefer to use their satnavs, & not the shortcuts they know about, because it takes longer & the fare will be higher.

Booked a taxi for 08.45, no taxi rang up office they said its traffic in whit holding it up. I was stood outside my house at 08.50 n the same city taxi went passed me 3 Times going up different streets. Start sending drivers who know the area. Oh by the way I had to cancel my test due to the lack of knowledge from your driver on the area. Never again am I booking with you.

Taxi was late yet again When I rang to book for 7.30 I was told that was fine 7.40 arrived taxi didn't Called again to be told "it is the week before Christmas darling You could have rung & booked 5 weeks ago if you wanted a taxi" Well sorry to tell you but it was the week before Christmas when we booked & no-one made us aware they couldn't cope Was then asked if I wanted to be put down for the next available cab!!! No I wanted the one I booked Made us late for our Christmas meal out Cancelled & husband drove instead Merry Christmas City taxis More customers lost

Unfriendly and late for train station drop off. Also driver refused to take small very well trained dog. Don't bother and search out alternative you'll be happier for it and probably get more reliable

Taxi driver was brilliant under the very stressful circumstances but the service was shocking, 25 minutes late when pre-booked the night before to go to the bus station, I missed my bus on the 1st day of my new job. Very disappointing and costly all round.

Very disappointed in the service I have received today. I always pre-book my taxis half an hour before my shift time, so I'm early for work. On this occasion I was let down and was 17 minutes late for work. I had booked my taxi for 7:30am, it got to 7:36am and no taxi had arrived. I called the company up to be told by a lady that she would speak with the Chesterfield office and get one dispatched as soon as possible. So again, I waited. It got to 7:48am, still no taxi. So I called again, only to be told by a man that nobody had even been assigned the job and that they was waiting for a driver to take it. I feel this is totally unacceptable as I pre-booked. Now because of me being late my wages will be deducted and I will get a warning at work. I shall not be using this company again.

Absolutely shocking service from city. To say theyre a well known taxi company for the area I would have expected far better service than I did! My taxi turned up nearly 20 minutes late making me and a colleague late for work. When I rang city to ask where my taxi was all I got was were doing our best there was no apology for the terrible service or the fact that they made me late for work. Not good enough City Ill not use you again!!!

shocking! The "taxi" was 20 minutes late which made me late to an important hospital appointment, then he went the wrong way and kept the meter running whilst he turned around not one, but TWICE I think I can safely say I will NOT be using these again!
