We have prebooked taxi a day before. I made it clear that the taxi is for the train station so I could not be late. At the day of my travel 10 minutes delay I called the operator, it took me 12 minutes to get through. She reassured me that the taxi was only “a couple of minutes away”. The taxi arrived only 35 minutes late after a had to take my own car at park it at the station ( had to pay for 3 days) I spoke to the operator later, she said that the driver was close but for some reason was delayed with another passenger. To my question what she did not warn me that the taxi would be late she said that she is to busy to get arm the customers. So the service us absolutely unreliable and if you have a strict time limit better not to relay on Kings Abbey Taxis!

Had taxi pre booked several days before going to a wedding at Pentney Abbey. It failed to turn up as ordered at midnight and when we phoned to check where it was operator lied about them having been at correct time and having DJ announce their presence. We checked with Abbey staff and DJ and they definitely hadn't turned up. After a long phone 'discussion' another taxi was finally sent out - after we'd spent an hour and quarter in the rain waiting. Two other groups there experienced exactly the same treatment and excuses from this company. Will definitely never use or recommend again.
