    I am extremely disappointed with Thomas cooks problem solving solutions. I have occurred a few issues health wise since booking my 2 week holiday with my wife Angela, thinking these could be solved as the holiday was paid for was obviously unthinkable. I requested the dates to be altered as I have had an upcoming operation and needed 6 week recovery, Thomas cook refused to facilitate this and said if I cancelled we would loose half of our booking fee. I find this absolutely disgusting and will not be providing my custom here anymore.

    I found in the past Thomas cook have been brilliant in facilitating what I wanted, but lately that has all changed their lack of customer service skills has made my experience nothing but stressful and I found the sales advisors so unhelpful when Ive had a few problems preventing my bookings to proceed. Overall Thomas cook needs to train their staff a lot better on customer service and on how to handle every day situations. I definitely will no longer be providing my custom to Thomas cook anymore and I advice everyone else against this unless you want to do waste your time and money, for minimum service!!! Better off booking through a decent travel agent with experience or doing an online booking. Very appalling service Thomas cook in Stroud I must say!!!!!!

    Myself and my wife visited the local Thomas cook the other week looking to follow up a booking which my family have made, we quite liked the idea of adding on. This however, seemed extremely impossible for some reason the woman couldnt work out how to add us on without giving us the remaining balance of our family and ourself to pay. These things should be pretty simple if you are properly trained do I dont understand the issue. We ended up staying in there nearly an hour before we walked out and left the shop (still with no booking) we had to visit Thomson and do a separate booking with them luckily the same hotel still. But what a nightmare for something that should be so simple and staff should be trained to go out of their way to facilitate this but seemed like they had no idea. Better training is needed and if there is at all an area manager available I would like a chat with them in regards to this, as we are an elderly couple and didnt need that stress just wanted a booking!!
