We used Toilets4Hire for a summer event last weekend and were thoroughly impressed by the service Richard provided. Not only was he was extremely responsive to any queries we had in advance of the Show, the loos arrived spotlessly clean and he was both professional and helpful. They were also picked up the next day and removed from the showground. I have no qualms recommending Toilets4Hire to companies or other event organisers. Thistle Roofing has just completed my roof, fascia and roughcasting. From start to finish the company were extremely professional, hard-working and reliable. The work was completed to an extremely high standard from the time we got the quotation to completion and supervised by Derek who was very helpful and courteous. The customer care was excellent with no question unanswered and they left my property the way they found it. I would have no hesitation in recommending and hiring this company again.

After I inspected the work they did on my gutters in a suspiciously short time, I emailed to dispute the quality of work with the owner as the gutters were still pooling - not what was agreed. He called me with an intimidating and bullying manner insisting the work is done and threatened me with debt collectors. He had no interest in seeing for himself. I suggested I get a second opinion from another roofer but he rejected this. He was so unpleasant that I had to hang up. I emailed National Federation of Roofing Contractors for mediation then inforned Grant of this step and that I'd be in touch. He tried to dissuade me from this step and requested no more contact from me. He made a false allegation of fraud against me which the Police (who came to my house!) soon deemed to be malicious. The NFRC investigated them then informed me of the termination of Thistle Roofing's membership. Their debt collector ceased persuit of the bill after my explanation. AVOID!!

Having just had my roof replaced by Thistle Roofing I am happy to say that the whole experience was faultless from start to finish. Derek clearly explained the process to me before providing a very competitive quote, (a quote which was more than half that of another company who were providing the exact same materials). Tuesday - a team of 5 worked a solid 9 hour day to completely strip the roof and make it weather proof. Wednesday the same team returned and completed all the tiling work, leaving my property clean and tidy. A phonecall from Derek later that evening confirmed I was happy with the work completed. Thursday All scaffolding was removed and everything was back to normal again. The neighbours couldnt believe the efficiency of the team, who were all polite and courteous and really worked hard to complete the job within the quoted 2-day period. Thistle Roofing met and exceeded my expectations and I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
