• We used Hubert&Swainson Funeral services in Sept 2024. They were extremely kind & professional, yet after expressing my gratitude via their email contact address, of which I received no response, I also asked a general question, to which I also received no response. I now have the impression, that after the event of a funeral, they have no further need to care about the customer, so therefore cut all contact. I was in no way going to prove myself a nuisance by persisting, but it left me with a bad feeling that the initial respect we experienced before the funeral, was no longer necessary once they'd taken our money. I know this is a business, but it worried me enough to say, that I hope they respected my father's body more than they respected me after the event, when they refused any acknowledgement of my later praise & question via email. I may also note, that the coffin was quite damaged, but in our grief we chose to ignore this fact. Nevertheless, I do find it all rather concerning.
