Boiler Service in UK

We have had 5 so called plumbers in 4 years,non sorted the problem.we looked for a heating engineer and luckily got the right one .from start to finish turned up on the dot carried out the work that he knew needed repair ,nothing more .knew his stuff and gave us info about condensation we needed to know about too.richard did an outstanding job and I will be recommending him to everyone I know.his prices are very reasonable.

As a returning customer , Richard came to swap a broken shower pump and whilst here we asked about swapping out a temperamental shower which my husband had been looking at switching. Richard highlighted possible issues wed have with the swap wed planned and provided a better solution so once the new shower he recommended arrived he popped back to fit it for us. Punctual and polite. Weve used DPH before and will certainly use again.

Been back every year for the last 10 years to service our boiler. They initially installed the boiler and it hasn't dropped a beat. Always punctual and polite. Excellent advice also on other plumbing related issues. Top Notch !

Our house recently flooded in Fishlake Doncaster causing problems with our oil boiler. Direct plumbing attended as soon as the water receded and managed to get the boiler working again. They are coming back in a few weeks to change it but top marks for getting it running long enough to start drying the house out. Thank you very much Richard.

Brilliant 1st rate service. My boiler packed up on a Saturday morning and our usual company we use wouldnt attend until the following week. I called this company who were recommended to me,and spoke to Ash who agreed to fit me in to his schedule that same day. Honest, Thorough instalation and review. We have a large old property here in Ugborough that we let out to holiday makers, so it was important that we got the eating system to the required spec and standard of the property. With Ash's expertise we are delighted to now have a boiler/heating system we can trust. Ash was able to recognise that the property not only needed a new boiler but it needed new radiators too, something we were not aware of. I highly recommend to use Ash, we really enjoyed having him work at pur property, lovely man.

We have experienced some awful so called experts and been badly let down, misinformed and wasted money in the last three years until we found Ash. Very competitive quote out of the 4 that we originally got from various companies. Work commenced on time in a professional manner; all tools and excess neatly tidied away at the end of each day, wouldn't know that they had been round. Efforts made to ensure that hot water available every night throughout. Minor issue towards the end was sorted out quickly with no quibbles and kept well informed at all stages. Highly recommended and would use again.”

Mark came and installed us a new boiler when our old one had finally given up the ghost and he moved all the necessary pipe work for us and everything for us as we wanted the new one in a different place. I would definitely recommend him, he's very honest, knows his stuff and didn't try and rip us off.

Fantastic service

Did a great job for us fitting anew boiler in a really old house, which wasnt straight forward. Other tradesmen had quoted us double, and told us a load of work was needed, whereas McCanns found a way around it. Knows what he is doing, and a good bloke.

Absolutely first class service from Tom. Replaced our old boilers with a combi and fitted a new radiator in the bathroom. Gave us loads of good advice on this and other jobs we need doing in the house; a really friendy and helpful man and I'm sure the other guys in McCanns work to the same high standard. Impressed with the speed and efficiency of the workers who installed my new boiler. The price was very competitive and service second to none. Cleaned up as they went along with very little disruption to the household. Contacted the firm on the 15th October needing engineer urgently for an oil boiler failure. Although fully committed with jobs he rang me back between jobs to offer assistance. I was very impressed with his genuine desire to help.

We had a gas leak and called them they were quick to respond and sorted the problems.

Alan quoted for the job in person, but while I was away the job was completed by another plumber. The work was of a really poor quality and did not meet regulations. Only good point was Alan came and made good the work that did not regulations after being contacted a few times and getting the gas safety register involved. Exterior work is still of poor quality but the install now meets regulations. From other reviews, Im sure Alan is a good plumber, but have in mind he does use other plumbers who are clearly inexperienced.
