Qamar (aka Jonny C as we nick named him, the C standing for cowboy) was hired by us for a big job. Huge mistake, the family agree- instinct told us all that this guy wasn't qualified or trustworthy, but impatience and ignorance was the problem. Ignored gut and went on to regret it. As well as attempting to get money beyond what was agreed, his work was pretty shoddy. Qamar seems to lack morals when it came to money, despite being paid generously. Anyone in and around Bolton seriously be careful of this cowboy.

Qamar is a builder with a few years of experience under his belt. He is comfortable doing work he has always done. Any work he has little experience of he'll shy away from. He's not a solution or ideas man! If you owe him money he'll pick your phone up but once you've paid him and try to get hold of him, he'll ignore your call. I've been calling him for the past 10 days to finish off a job and getting no reply. He's created a hole in the neighbours wall whilst working on our job and he still hasn't rectified it 7 months later. Avoid if possible. Find another reliable builder!

I used JA Renovations to complete a 6-figure transformation on my house which has complex architecture. John interpreted the plans brilliantly and delivered the extension exactly as I wanted, I rarely if ever write recommendations for anyone but on this occasion, I thought I would. John and his son are really nice fellas, polite and courteous. More importantly, the wife is happy lol so I Highly Recommend John and his company JA Renovations.

This is a review to say thank you to John and his team who have recently completed a 6 figure extension on my property. After being let down by another builder I am writing a review on here because I and my family are very satisfied with the work done and John saved us from a lot of stress that was caused by the previous builder letting us down...This extension was a major piece of work and was for a Victorian property, it included, a new garage, bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms a conservatory and a loft conversion...The project was time critical because we were expecting a new baby at the time and I wanted to have my office in the loft of my house in order to be able to spend more time at home to help with our 3 little ones plus the new baby that was on its way at the time. Avoid this builder. Low quality workmanship Small builder outfit that subcontracts to substandard workmen with little skill. Had his work independently assessed several times and all found it to be not fit for purpose and very poor. Best to avoid this one as he has cost us money to repair and rectify his work. Probably ok for small jobs but not for plastering or anything more complex
