Andrews Quality Meats based in Swindon, Wiltshire have over 20 years' experience in all aspects of the meat trade and only supply meat of the highest standard which is locally produced, boned and cut in-house. We are traditional master butchers and licensed game dealers and supply pheasant, partridge and venison. All our meat is sourced from local farms and is then hung for 28 days prior to being boned and cut by our skilled butchers. To ensure that all of the cutting we do is of the required quality all of our butchers have been trained to the unique levels required. Having supplied quality fresh meat and other foodstuffs to hotels and caterers across central Scotland since 1965, we created a butcher's shop on our 3rd generation family farm that opened to the public early in 2014. Priding ourselves on freshness, quality and value, we're delighted that thousands of local people now enjoy buying their fresh meat from us on a regular basis. Our fully stocked farm butcher's shop conveniently displays our extensive range of award-winning fresh products and great value meat packs. Customers can also shop online where they have the option of selecting to collect their order from the farm or have it delivered free on a convenient date to their home or workplace by our drivers in our own refridgerated vans. Our delivery area covers most of central Scotland (within approx. 25miles radius of Stirling). Born and bred in Dorchester and with over 35 years experience in the Meat Trade both wholesale and retail, owner and proprietor Stuart Jury will be pleased to help you choose and cut meat to your requirements. Stuart started his career at DIY wholesale butchers in Winterbourne Abbas,and learnt the cutting and serving skills required. He then moved to Quantock Veal on the Poundbury industrial etstate and was there for over 9 1/2 years. He then moved to Case & Sons in Shaftesbury and learnt about Injection cured bacon, on its closure he moved to SJ Normans in Bridport, and worked in there Retail Shop, From there he moved to Denhay Farms in Broadoak and then to there new plant in Honiton and learnt about Dry cured bacon and Air Dried Ham. He returned back to SJ Normans and ran there retail shop for over 8 years and then had the opportunity to open his own shop in Dorchester town centre. With help from family and friends he was able to open at the beginning of December 2013 and was able to serve quite a few customers with their Christmas meat.
