ABOUT US Founders Jon and Chris - both Cafe Managers at the time - were casually discussing their love for Vinyl and Music over an Espresso (or three) when they had a sudden enlightenment - Long Play Cafe was born! After only a couple of months of planning and developing (and quite a few name changes along the way) Long Play Cafe opened its doors for the first time on Saturday 11th October 2015 and the rest, they say, is history!

A place to eat, shop, unwind and explore. Set beside the Lake, inspired by Capability Brown's original plan, Kirkharle Courtyard is a unique shopping experience, promising home cooked food, creativity, heritage and culture in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside - only thirty minutes north of Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Morpeth and Alnwick. Within the 18th century courtyard, you'll find work for sale from a variety of nationally-renowned crafts people who sell everything from papier mache artwork to classically inspired sculpture. There's hand-made jewellery and traditionally-constructed bespoke furniture, as well as local crafts, gifts, vintage and antiques. There's also a coffee house which offers some fantastic contemporary cuisine, often using local produce, as well as the traditional cream tea.

Bickleigh Mill offers three floors of retail therapy, plus a delightful Bistro. We are open 7 days a week from 10.00am.
