I visited this practice today having finally decided to do something about my horrible toenails. It only took me 30yrs! The staff were so friendly and helpful, even lending me £1 for the parking meter! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did not have a chronic nail infection. They had grown abnormally as a result of injury. The nails were quickly clipped and tidied up and I am so delighted with the result! Thank you so much and I highly recommend this practice. If you have problems with your toes or feet, dont delay as I did and get treatment! Wonderful service

Just had a terrible experience of water pouring onto our bedroom ceiling while I was at work.My wife did what she could in containing the leak until I arrived home.Shortly after part of the ceiling caved in.After a couple of calls to roofing companies who did not answer I reached Rob at 1st call who said they could come first thing in the morning.They promptly arrived as said and fixed a split in the valley flashing in a professional way.I don't know how we would have coped without Rob and his men during all the recent bad weather.Many thanks and would highly recommend.

after phoning various roofing company's who were to busy except for one who wanted £3.500 to fix my leaking roof i spoke to Rob from 1St Call Roofing who was recommended by a friend after explaining the leak to Rob he thought it was a broken tile this proved to be correct and the work was carried out for a fraction of the price by friendly workers who new what they were doing would recommend them to any one looking for an honest roofer.

I contacted 1st call regarding a guttering downpipe issue. They attended the same day and explained what needed to be done. The attended the next day and competently ensured my guttering was at the correct angle for the downpipe to be effective. Whilst there they noticed, and photographed, two broken slates on my roof. These were promptly changed the next morning They provided an excellent service at a good price. I will use the again for any other roofing issues

We called about a leaking roof in the morning and they arrived at the house by the afternoon to investigate the problem. We were provided with some options to fix the leak, and once we had decided which way to move forward they arrived promptly the next day to carry out the work. I took my car to Advanced Motorcare for a full service having seen positive reviews online. They did not disappoint. I needed the car back by 3pm and it was done in good time. When I had a query about the invoice they took the time to resolve this over the phone. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received and would not hesitate to recommend Advanced Motorcare and I will be using them again in the future.

main dealer level of service at about half the price . why go anywhere else ?

Been here twice for specialist jobs on my Volvo. Only don't go all the time due to distance. First time Adrian advised me to take car to Volvo dealer as repair should be done for free under warranty. He could have not told me this and taken over £1000 for the repair. I'm sure many garages would have! Second time he diagnosed my fault from my email, booked in, done in the day and car back all sorted when other garages weren't able to diagnose the fault properly. Will not hesitate to use again for anything that requires specialist knowledge of the car. Thanks again.

After attempting to exercise my arthritic legs and spine by walking my dog, I quickly realized I needed a taxi home. Within 10 minutes, a comfortable Western Cars taxi arrived. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! We booked a taxi to the airport and after checking, we found NO booking on their system and they overcharged us!

On the 15th of February, I was hit on and offered cocaine by one of the staff in the taxi office at joices yard. This made me very uncomfortable. He told me that his coke was the best in Basingstoke, as if that was something to be proud of. I politely declined, only to be told that if I change my mind to ask for Dan in the office. When i mentioned this to the security that managed the taxi queue, he smiled and agreed that Dan's coke was indeed the best. This has made me not want to use this service any longer as I'm not sure that everyone working there isn't high all the time!!! I am absolutely shocked that this company allows that kind of behaviour. My recommendation is that you stay clear from this taxi rank.

The taxi arrived on schedule; however, I felt compelled to give it a one-star rating due to my experience. The driver was unprofessional when I requested to pay in cash, stating that he only accepted card payments. When I informed him that I did not have a card, he reacted negatively and refused to accept my cash payment, which was 14f (I gave him 10f and two 2f coins), indicating that he would not need to provide change. Additionally, I observed that he was driving at an excessive speed and disregarded a red light. This unpleasant experience will discouraged me from using they services again.

Booked this lot for taxi to Gatwick and return pickup. Text to confirm pick had wrong post code. Driver arrived on time but not helpful in terms of luggage. Got to Gatwick on time. Return was something else. Driver was late. Contacting him proved difficult, when we did he asked if we were in the Yellow car park - there isnt a Yellow car park, then radio silence. Called yet again when someone else answered and said he would get hold of him. After more frustration he turned up in the Red car park where we were. Set of on the journey home but didnt have our address in his satnav so got somewhere close and asked if “this was it”, a random assumption. Directed him to our house where he sat in his cab, opened the tailgate so we unloaded bags and closed his tailgate for him. Useless company and useless driver.

We booked a taxi for 4 adults to take us to a restaurant & a return trip. The driver who picked us up was on time, friendly & efficient ( he deserves a very good rating). For the return journey, the company could not come up with a driver and after 50 minutes of waiting & numerous phone calls to them, we fortunately found another means to return home. Alpha cars seem to have a monopoly on all taxi firms in Basingstoke ... sadly they did no fulfill their obligation, so we would not recommend them.

i writing this on behalf of my 80yr old disabled mum she had an awful experience with u last wed night 29th march she went to orpington tescos was dropped of with one of ur drivers and had a return booked for 45 mins later she waited taxi didnt turn up after 45 mins plus she waited 45 mins rang and asked where it was they cancelled it because they said she wasnt there she was there u just didnt bloody look she.s severly disabled cant walk far everybody seen how distressed she was and helped her even an ambulance driver offered to help her but thankfully a lovely man and his wife took my mum so thanks for ur crap service if thats how u treat ur customers u can stick ur so called service where the sun dont shine so she wont b using ur service learn to look after ur customers because without them ur have no job disgrace should b ashamed of urselves to treat an 80 yr old disabled lady like that

Had a truly awful experience with Riviera Cars. The staff member was rude, aggressive, and swore at me in two languages impressive, if youre into that sort of thing. Their responses to negative reviews are even worse. They've named customers and their employers, and threatened to release phone recordings which sounds more like a crime thriller than a taxi service. Unsurprisingly, Ive reported them to the ICO. Theyll probably respond to this by claiming its fake they love that move. Its not. If you value basic respect and your privacy, steer well clear of Riviera Cars.

Horrible experience - do NOT use. Just had the worst taxi trip ever from these guys, driving me, wife and two small kids from Gatwick. Two minutes into the trip the driver pulled out right into fast incoming traffic at the Gatwick roundabout (slammed brakes all round - thankfully no injuries); then he drove 2 car lengths from the car in front on the motorway; he then tried to argue back when asked to leave a safe distance, and had to be firmly told a second time before complying; he continued to be erratic leaving no room for manoeuvre when an MPV switched lanes in front of him; he then undertook at speed on the motorway completely unnecessarily and dangerously; and the coup de grce was when he dropped us off at home, steadfastly refusing to help get the cases out of the car, and having the temerity to swear at us for not closing his boot. This driver might be a one-off agency contractor - but the deck of Riviera Cars business cards on the dashboard suggest otherwise. Appalling

Used Riveria in March for a collection to Heathrow with another collection on the way. For both journeys the drivers arrived on time with the right car for the luggage (cases plus a large snowboard case), the drivers helped load up and had the second address already programmed in. For the return journey our flight arrived 45 mins early so we thought we would have to hang around the airport but the driver called just as we were leaving customs to say that he had been monitoring flights and was there! Prices for both journeys were as agreed when we booked. Perfect service on both journeys. Plus - we left one of our ski helmets in the taxi on the outward journey, brand new and over £100. We thought we had lost it but Riviera kept it for us at their office and we collected it when we returned. I started using Riveria after a bad experience with another company and would now only ever use Riviera, always excellent service, with clean cars and polite and helpful drivers.

Use this company regularly over the passed 5 years and they have never let me down. They even helped me when I broke down this evening. Thank you Riviera cars
