Not only does Chimera Climbing Centre provide an exhilarating climbing environment, with a variety of different surfaces, and a range of modern facilities, we also run a complete range of beginner's courses. We insist on high quality and regular route setting from renowned professional guest setters. The Centre has a full-size competition wall, top-out boulder, a roof section, a dedicated training area with campus board, circuit board with sport routes, 40 Degree board, finger boards and more. We host our own regular competitions, and organise team events at other venues. You can hire climbing shoes from reception, so you don't need any special equipment or training. Just turn-up and climb!
