Shaw's installed a new combi boiler and carried out a power flush of the hot water system at our home. They were excellent at explaining all the options and answering all of my queries beforehand and gave us clear quote for the work. We have been incredibly pleased with the quality of the work all around and the overall results. They were polite, punctual, had lots of advice when asked, were very tidy and clean. The engineer was incredibly hard working and was able to finish the job earlier than planned despite having to sort out a few complications during the work and working around us. I would definitely recommend Shaw's to anyone who needs a trustworthy plumber who won't mess you about. Far better than various others we have used in the last few years.

We had a complicated boiler replacement involving replacing gas pipes across a stone floor in a small business so could not afford to run behind scehdule. Other quotes suggested running pipes around the skirting which we didn't want. J&E MacGregor started and finished in less than 4 days with minimum fuss for such a dirty job and concealed the pipes under the floor. Everything was done to estimate, on time and to a high standard. We have already used them again for another job with exactly the same professional results. We highly recommend them and thank Euan for keeping in touch and checking constantly that we were happy with the job.

I found J & E MacGregor to be an extremely good firm of plumbers to work with. Having used the company before I had no hesitation in going back to them when I needed to replace my boiler. I found them to be extremely friendly as well as being very reliable, punctual and clean and tidy. Mark was here within the hour of our call to help us with a blocked toilet at our work premises. He was friendly, genuine and gave advice with regards to an issue he couldn't help us with. Would definately recommend and will use him again in the future.

Called at 11.30, came out within 30 mins and fixed the job in under 20 mins. Great service and great price too. Mark was lovely guy and Im just so grateful that there are still some genuine professionals that come and do a great job and dont take advantage price wise with your emergencys. Called Mark out to repair a burst pipe on a Saturday night. Turned up within the hour and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Excellent service from a real gentleman. I could not recommend Mark highly enough.

Just a simple toilet blockage after all, yet he came over straight away even at the distance and cleared it up without a hitch. Knows what he's doing. Great service and nice guy aswell let alone great price.

Kirk has dealt with all my plumbing requirements for several years now......troublesome taps, urgent replacement of leaking radiators, installation of a new boiler and radiators and boiler servicing. He is always extremely efficient, friendly and helpful, if it's a matter of urgency he always attends at impressive speed, and even if it's something really minor I know I can rely on him to sort it out quickly and efficiently.

We were very pleased with the professional service and explanation we were given when we required a new gas boiler. The work was completed to a very high standard in a very short time and with minimal mess. The house has never been so warm and we cannot believe how quiet the new boiler is.

Had water leak from the block stop on the radiator. Arrived in 30 mins, workmanship is fantastic, price was even better, top man will definitely be using paul for any more plumbing jobs, thankyou paul for a top job.

andy fitted out kitchen, it was extremely out of date and needed a complete overhaul, he was on time, pleasant, and easy to talk to, nothing was too much, could not have asked for a better job, would definitely hire and recommend him to anyone!
