Opened in Ruislip High Street in July 2000, Ruislip Frameworks quickly established itself as the areas premier picture framers. As a family business run on traditional values we pride ourselves not only on the quality of our work but equally on the standards of service and customer relations. To ensure this all work is carried out in our own in house workshop here on the premises Customers visiting our gallery will find we have probably one of the best ranges of art to be found in any high street gallery, ranging from Original paintings to inexpensive poster style prints to high quality limited edition prints from many of the leading artist of the day such as Beryl Cook, Jack Vettriano, Royo, Ian Faulkner, Robert Heindel and many more. Established in 1978 we specialise in picture framing, digital printing including canvas, photo restoration and also provide a professional passport and Visa Photo service. We are dedicated to offering the very best service to all customers and work is carried out in our own workshop and we are happy to deal with original oils, watercolours, silks, tapestries, cross stitch, sport shirts and other memorabilia. We carry an extensive range of traditional and contemporary moulding and we use Daler Rowney and Arqadia mountboard. The oldest photograph we have copied and restored dated back to the 1850s. We can deal with minor or more serious repairs but we are always happy to advise you. Your original photo doesn't leave our premises and is scanned and returned as it was given. Don't leave your passport or Visa Photo to chance, our professional service will ensure your photograph will meet the new biometric standards which are now required by most countries. Craft Frames has been open on West Hill since 1979. For the first few years at no. 27 and since then at our current address. The ground floor consists of the shop and room where the frames are cut. The middle floor has the room where Melissa's needlework classes are held and the top floor is where the picture framing is carried out. We have over 40 years of picture framing expertise and are proud that we can frame most items, including cross stitch and needlework pieces (a speciality,) watercolours, oil paintings, limited edition prints, photographs, pastels, drawings, certificates, signed football shirts, Egyptian papyrus, books and medals. We have a large range of frames and mount board colours to choose from and friendly, helpful staff to advise you. As we offer a bespoke picture framing service which is unique to your picture we are unable to offer a quotation online or over the telephone.
