Independent Family Funeral Director Hello, my name is David, I am a qualified Funeral Director, Embalmer and Past Chairman of The Yorkshire Division of The British Institute of Embalmers and a Bereavement Befriender with over 33 years of experience in the Funeral Profession. Having worked for large Funeral companies and family-owned businesses in Keighley, Bradford, Halifax and Leeds areas, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing together the wishes of the Deceased and their Family alongside the practicalities of arranging a funeral. In 2022 I have finally achieved my greatest ambition -to set up on my own as an Independent Funeral Director, following in the footsteps of my Great Grandfather W. J. Lawson & Son, Cabinet Maker, and Undertaker of Skipton.

Naylor & Grysdale in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, is a local funeral director that is pleased to offer funeral services, pre-payment funerals and funeral planning services to clients locally, and can also arrange funerals in other parts of the country, and indeed the repatriation of the deceased to and from abroad. We strive to achieve the highest possible standard of personal care to the family and also the deceased. We will conduct all meetings in the comfort of your own home and will make all the necessary arrangements that you require to plan the service and make this a lasting memory. We will discuss the choices available with you and have our own private Chapel of Rest where you may spend time with your loved one. We are happy to advise and arrange any function you may require after the service and also take care of the catering, and liaise with our stonemason as to any future memorial stone that may be required.
