Nigel has been working in the funeral business for over 15 years and is assisted in the running of this family business by his daughter, Corrinne. Corrinne Foster passed the Diploma in Funeral Directing in September 2013, which made her the highest qualified Funeral Director in the area. Bridgwater Funeral Services provides a personal service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to Bridgwater, and the surrounding areas and we make a commitment to you to take care of all the necessary funeral arrangements. Clients are welcomed into a professional, friendly environment with a luxurious waiting room and a beautifully appointed Chapel of Rest. We can provide all types of service and burial including Green and Woodland burials, horse-drawn funerals, military funerals and we can also arrange services in all religious denominations plus non- religious and humanist life celebrations as well. H Biffen & Sons Ltd was started in 1920 by Harry Biffen when he launched a Taxi and Limousine business in Bridgwater. Following the death of Harry in 1972, Biffen's gave up the taxi service side of the business. In 1944 when Ron retired, Bills son John joined and most recently in 2003 Johns daughter Sarah joined the firm. Sadly, Bill died in 2010. Now the two generations work side by side to provide the friendly family service that we have become renowned for.
