I used Colinton Gardening Services to update my old patio and path in my back garden in the summer of 2021. Whilst overall satisfied with the work once completed, there are aspect of their service which fall below expected standards. Firstly the scope of work and pricing was agreed in Feb and the work due to start in early April. They finally turned up at the end of June, however it was left to me to keep chasing them for updates during April and May. Secondly - they work 4 days a week from 10am - 3pm. You need to be prepared for your job to take twice as long as a usual trade company. They are not organised and on numerous occasions they didnt have all the materials needed that day, and would take time out during a short working day to source / buy. And lastly at the end I was presented with a final bill which was 12.5% higher than the quote. There was no warning or discussion prior to this and the scope of work had not changed.

Very reasonable value for money, friendly, helpful and reliable. Very happy with the service. Will recommend, and use again.
