Upon joining Park Hill School each child is given their own iPad ensuring that the benefit that technology brings to the classroom is enjoyed across the curriculum. The competency of the children to design, create and present through both tradition media and through their iPads has allowed them to take their education home during the period of enforced lockdown with negligible impact on their learning journey. At Park Hill, every pupil is encouraged to develop academically, physically and emotionally. We believe that children who enjoy their school days will achieve their best. We are privileged to be able to use the Kingston Grammar School playing fields at Ditton Fields for Sport, where we particularly enjoy rugby, football, hockey and cricket along with weekly swimming and water skills lessons. We have an outstanding Performing Arts Department and put on 3 productions each year and have recently scooped numerous National Awards at the ISA Drama Competitions and Music Awards in both team and individual categories. We take advantage of our proximity to Richmond Park and are the only school in West London which has an Outdoor Adventure School. With an emphasis on developing self-esteem, collaboration and communication skills, children from Year 2 to Year 6 learn practical outdoor skills from navigation to first aid. We welcome children from all cultural and religious backgrounds. Our pupils leave with confidence, good manners and respect for themselves and others. At Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines the warm and welcoming environment ensures that your child's individual needs are prioritised and their interests nurtured. Children's days are packed full of activities designed in line with EYFS principles and implemented by our highly trained and knowledgeable staff. The children enjoy planting vegetables and tasting their produce, served by our dedicated Nursery Chef. They also love the wooded area which they have affectionately named 'The Jungle'. We have also obtained our Green Flag Eco-Schools award for our commitment to the environment. We have an active Parent Partnership Forum and also offer training to parents throughout the year.
