The service provided by Marshels Of Farnham Ltd was excellent, they came and decorated a large drawing room in a listed with a ornate ceiling requiring artisan expertise. They did an brilliant job with the decorating and we will be using them again in the future. The staff were professional and friendly and we had no trouble at all with using them. We were lucky to find Michael who came to us to paint our garage door, but despite it being a small job he did it personally, and with painstaking skill. I have used Michael Rose Painting & Decorating Services for several projects in our home and would highly recommend Michael and his team. They completely redecorated our hall, stairs and landing to a very high standard. We were delighted with the end result. When we unexpectedly had a water leak from pipes in our loft during the project, Michael quickly dealt with the matter by hiring a dehumidifier to dry out the damp area on the ceiling. He ensured that stains were removed and paintwork completed thoroughly to provide an excellent finish. He also dealt efficiently with a separate damp stain on the living room ceiling caused by a shower leak by applying a stain stop and repainting the problem area to a high standard. Michael is courteous, very approachable and trustworthy. He is a great project manager and keeps in regular communication on the status of each project. I hired Michael Rose Painting & Decorating Services to do quite a bit of work including painting my hall and stairs and the front of my house, porch and windows etc. Michael himself is a lovely man, very honest and hard working, really decent with morals, which was a breath of fresh air compared to previous traders I've used, his small team were unbelievable too, they all really went that extra mile, I would definitely use them again and simply can't recommend them enough.

David has redecorated a tricky loft conversion for us this week to an very high standard. He is a perfectionist and totally meticulous. The result was far better than we could ever have expected. Andy and Lewis painted the outside of my house. I chose them as Andy had previously painted the interior to a very high standard and his price was very competitive. Again he did a superb job and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others - indeed relatives are using him shortly. He was excellent in every respect - quality of work, reliability, friendly and positive manner and keeping me informed of progress throughout.

Decorating 4 rooms and hallway. Excellent work. Decorators were friendly, efficient, and only too pleased to assist. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Andrew to anyone, and I will certainly be using them in the future.

Painting of kitchen and livingroom including woodwork and ceiling. As someone how has to make their money go that bit further I'm very glad I plumped for AFL. Andrew's company is certainly not the cheapest (or cheap), but in this case you get what you pay for, a real feeling of reassurance from the moment you get the initial quote, right through to the finish of the job. No sinking feelings or worries, just the warm glow of satisfaction at having made the right choice from the outset. No worrying about shortcuts being taken or things being done on the cheap. The decorators were punctual, clean and tide and completely transformed the room.

Great quality work and fast. Relatively small job to try the company out, and it was really good quality and fast. Also punctual, courteous and tidy. Will definitely use again!

Exterior decoration of house. The work was to decorate the exterior of our house. This was carried out to a very high standard. The team, Sunny and Patrick, arrived early each day and worked steadily to complete the work, no hassle. Excellent communication - Andrew Farkas would let me know evenings what would happen the next day. The job was carried out to budget, 1/2 paid when the job was 1/2 done, the balance on completion. The only thing that went "wrong" was that the replacement downpipe was installed so that I couldn't remove the drain grid for cleaning or rodding the drain, should that be necessary. Andrew had that sorted out within a couple of days, so the problem was quickly resolved. I am happy to give Andrews Farkas top marks.

Decorated my lounge; paper, paint and all woodwork. Very quick and tidy job and workers very polite and courteous. Am very happy with the work and would highly recommend.

Nigel has done a couple of painting/wall papering jobs for us and I cannot fault him. The finish has been absolutely amazing, smooth walls and perfect lines. Nigel and his son Elliot have done a brilliant job restoring our very dilapidated house. They offer much more than you would expect from a decorating team. They can replace and repair rotten wood work so that it looks as good as new and have an extensive knowledge of what paint works best on different surfaces. They are perfectionists and all their work from preparation to finish is excellent. Nigel and Elliot were a pleasure to have around. Outstanding. Chris has superb attention to detail, he works hard and the final result is superb. He cross-lined & wallpapered our living room in a very dark colour taking it from bright and stark to rich and warm. I cannot recommend Chris and team highly enough. He's pretty much decorated all of our house now since we found him last year, this has included spindle stair cases, hanging Farrow & Ball wall paper, painting mantlepiece surround as well as the usual walls and woodwork. They sand everything to make sure the right finish can be achieved, they have invested in the right kit to do the job, it sucks the dust back in and the hoover up after themselves. The finish on painting and decorating is excellent. On top of a great job, they are trustworthy, clean and turn up when they say they will.
