Painting of kitchen and livingroom including woodwork and ceiling. As someone how has to make their money go that bit further I'm very glad I plumped for AFL. Andrew's company is certainly not the cheapest (or cheap), but in this case you get what you pay for, a real feeling of reassurance from the moment you get the initial quote, right through to the finish of the job. No sinking feelings or worries, just the warm glow of satisfaction at having made the right choice from the outset. No worrying about shortcuts being taken or things being done on the cheap. The decorators were punctual, clean and tide and completely transformed the room.

Great quality work and fast. Relatively small job to try the company out, and it was really good quality and fast. Also punctual, courteous and tidy. Will definitely use again!

Exterior decoration of house. The work was to decorate the exterior of our house. This was carried out to a very high standard. The team, Sunny and Patrick, arrived early each day and worked steadily to complete the work, no hassle. Excellent communication - Andrew Farkas would let me know evenings what would happen the next day. The job was carried out to budget, 1/2 paid when the job was 1/2 done, the balance on completion. The only thing that went "wrong" was that the replacement downpipe was installed so that I couldn't remove the drain grid for cleaning or rodding the drain, should that be necessary. Andrew had that sorted out within a couple of days, so the problem was quickly resolved. I am happy to give Andrews Farkas top marks.

Steve and his people have carried out decorating work in my home over the last six years. Coupled with their excellent work, they have had free run of my house, in my absence and, in my experience, are totally trustworthy, very caring and aware that it IS my home. Well, after reading a few reviews, they are really everything that I would say. Vince is truly a lovely pleasant man, on time, you can trust him if you go out, no mess he has done a lovely job on my hall and lounge/ kitchen. I would definitely recommend him to anyone one who wants a professional job doing. Nothing too much trouble for him, moved my tv back every day, put my curtains back up, cleaned my windows and even offered to put my frames back on walls. I heard about Vince from my neighbours so booked him in for some decorating of my porch and stripping and varnishing my inner door. All I can say is Vince is an old school professional and really knows his trade. He is a fountain of knowledge and guided us in terms of colours and trends. The service provided by Marshels Of Farnham Ltd was excellent, they came and decorated a large drawing room in a listed with a ornate ceiling requiring artisan expertise. They did an brilliant job with the decorating and we will be using them again in the future. The staff were professional and friendly and we had no trouble at all with using them. I have used Michael Rose Painting & Decorating Services for several projects in our home and would highly recommend Michael and his team. They completely redecorated our hall, stairs and landing to a very high standard. We were delighted with the end result. When we unexpectedly had a water leak from pipes in our loft during the project, Michael quickly dealt with the matter by hiring a dehumidifier to dry out the damp area on the ceiling. He ensured that stains were removed and paintwork completed thoroughly to provide an excellent finish. He also dealt efficiently with a separate damp stain on the living room ceiling caused by a shower leak by applying a stain stop and repainting the problem area to a high standard. Michael is courteous, very approachable and trustworthy. He is a great project manager and keeps in regular communication on the status of each project. I would highly recommend Michael and his team.

The overall experience of using Michael Rose Painting was excellent. We hired them to paint the exterior of our two-story end-of-terrace house. The staff were polite, friendly and professional throughout. The work was done to an exceptional standard with remarkable attention to detail. There was also thorough preparation before starting to ensure our decking would remain free of paint. One windy day they even wrapped a nearby parked car in plastic. The clean up at the end was equally thorough. We will definitely use them again for all painting work.

I have had Steve twice now, the first time was painting the outside of my house in 2019 and the second job was painting the whole of the inside, which he has just completed. It was a big job and took him about five weeks to complete. I must say the finished work is exceptional. The preparation and painting is outstanding and had transformed the feel of the house. Steve is polite, easy to work with, is very punctual and communicates with you about any aspects of the job that need it. I would highly recommend him, you won't be disappointed.

Steve did an excellent job of painting out external walls this summer: his work was to a fantastic standard and was completed on time. We were so pleased with his work that we asked him to return to paint our living room. Again, a job completed to an excellent standard, on time and reasonably priced.
