Nigel has done a couple of painting/wall papering jobs for us and I cannot fault him. The finish has been absolutely amazing, smooth walls and perfect lines. He is punctual, tidy, friendly and we've been happy to leave him in the house while we go about our busy lives. He is fastidious and his attention to detail is second to none! Nigel and his crew were highly professional and did an excellent job decorating the outside of our house despite the local weather causing unavoidable delays. The quality of the finishing was superb, absolutely faultless. All the crew were friendly, tidy and quiet ! Nigel provided good advice on paint type and wood finishes appropriate for our situation. Nigel and his son Elliot have done a brilliant job restoring our very dilapidated house. They offer much more than you would expect from a decorating team. They can replace and repair rotten wood work so that it looks as good as new and have an extensive knowledge of what paint works best on different surfaces. They are perfectionists and all their work from preparation to finish is excellent. Nigel and Elliot were a pleasure to have around. Clean, tidy, reliable, cheerful, trustworthy and excellent communicators. I would highly recommend Stanton Decorating to anyone and will be using them again on the inside of my house.

I would strongly recommend Nigel and his team as a great choice for your decorating needs. Nigel is old school professional and has been doing this for his working life. It shows in his meticulous prep and eye for detail . We are very happy with the work he just completed for us . Over two weeks in Jan 22 Nigel, Elliott and Gemma decorated the inside of our house. They worked hard and efficiently and were lovely people. The quality of their work was very impressive - they even managed to remove wood chip paper from an old wall and get a smooth finish! We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I simply could not recommend Nigel and the team enough. Their attention to detail is second to none and they worked tirelessly to finish the job for me when time was against us. We were advised by other companies that the finish we wanted would not be possible, Nigel rubbished that down to them not wanting to put the hard work in. Stanton Decorating did put the hard work in and gave us an incredible finish, especially as its a grade 2 listed building with plenty of lumps and bumps. Got to be the best in the business I think

Nigel and his team painted the inside of our 4 bedroom house just before Christmas. Arriving as promised at exactly 8.30am on the first day, they went to work straight away, with an impressive speed and efficiency, and were great at putting us completely at ease. My over-riding impression is how clean and tidy everything was left at the end of each day. Nigel kept us fully informed of progress throughout the work, and it was all completed a more quickly than expected at a price lower that initially quoted what a bonus! The result is a really high-quality job and I was thoroughly impressed with their consummate professionalism. Amazing results! Nigel recently came to wallpaper and paint our bedroom, landing and staircase. We absolutely love the result! He is neat, tidy and professional at all times. Nigel did an excellent job at my 16th century cottage - he resin filled damaged beams after woodworm and death watch beetle treatment. He also worked on all of my windows bringing them back to life and keeping them as original as possible. He fitted all new black-smithed and hand-crafted window latches, thus replacing the 70's atrocities that had managed to find their way onto my windows via a previous owner. I highly recommend Nigel Jarvis for detailed and considerate work. He is a talented and diligent painter and decorator and understands the importance of true heritage conservation.

I dont normally leave reviews, but thank you Nigel and team for such a fantastic job decorating our house! Unlike the other decorator who just wanted to give the house a quick lick of paint to get the job done as quickly as possible, Nigel was realistic about the work required (including filling, sanding and cleaning) to get the house decorated to a professional standard. We felt immediately that we were in good hands, and his quote was very fair given the amount of work involved. Communication was us was excellent, with Nigel keeping us up to date on progress throughout the job (which he did while we were away on holiday). The end result was outstanding. The finish on the walls and woodwork throughout the house was fantastic, and they left the house spotless too. Basically, I cant recommend Nigel and his team enough. If you want a fantastic decorating job at a good price from someone who takes real pride in his work then he is your man.

Nigel and his sons have just painted the whole exterior of our 3 storey property which included all doors, garage and garden retaining walls. We were very impressed with their attention to detail, advice and recommendations. If you are planning to renovate an older property contact Nigel and his sons to help you. Nigel has a lot of experience in dealing with the particular problems that older dwellings present. He has worked his way through my cottage sorting out everything from window frame repairs with high performance resin to falling plaster and replacement panels in kitchen cupboards. He and his team are diligent and careful in their work and gave me excellent advice about the choice of paints and finishes. I'm very happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend him.
