Rayners was the first purpose-built residential care home for the elderly in Amersham, South Buckinghamshire. We opened in 1990 and remain family-owned and managed to this day. Our facility was designed specifically to offer a high level of care for elderly residents, providing unsurpassed comfort and a range of extra care services for those residents who find themselves becoming more dependent. In this sense, we go above and beyond the level of service provided by standard care homes. Our bed sitting rooms are fully furnished. Each of our 40 suites are equipped with large picture windows, and many feature en suite bathrooms and toilets. We also provide luxurious, assisted living apartments that are private and completely self-contained. Rayners carefully selected team of caregivers is led by a registered general nurse with many years of experience caring for the elderly. We focus on dignity, respect and maintaining independence for our residents. We provide a range of social activities to promote engagement and overall quality of life. We also take pride in our cuisine and use local suppliers to supply our fresh produce and our food hygiene rating is 5. We've been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.
