Roofers in England

Ian quoted me for a zinc roof back in March 2022. He was knowledgable and looked like he would do a good job. All seemed fine and he started work and mostly completed half of the roof. He said he had to finish another job and he would be back in around a week or two before finishing the other side. Its now April 2023 and the roof hasnt been finished and he has never come back. I had to get up on the roof myself as it was leaking in multiple places. He has repeatedly lied to me and has told me was always just about to come and finish it and every time its been a lie. This has caused huge problems for myself and my family none of which he seems to be bothered by. Im now having to take him to court.

I've already posted a review for this tradesman. He solved a pervasive damp problem in an old extension, as well as renewing the whole house roof. He was fair and thoroughly professional. His team were skilled and gary took great professional pride in the work they did. He was recommended to us and we were very impressed with the quality of the work. You may possibly get cheaper but I don't think you'll get better.

Gary and his team have worked tirelessly on a complete renovation of a Victorian 3 bedroomed terraced house in Roath. His work has been exceptional and the previously dilapidated house now has a real WOW factor. Gary project managed the whole process as we are not local and provided us with details of excellent extra tradesmen where necessary for painting & decorating, carpets, kitchen and bathroom fitting. Michael and his team came to look at my roof hoping it was a small job but sadly the roof was in a bad way and had been neglected for decades. I got three quotes and White Knights were the cheapest and the ones that impressed me the most. They replaced the whole roof and even though it was a far bigger job than they first thought and took longer they stuck to the quote to the penny. I had water coming through our roof in several places and arranged for several companies to quote, White Knight immediately gave us faith and I am so glad that we chose them. White Knights level of knowledge and professionalism was second to none they took pictures and videos daily to show us what was needed and how they had addressed it and did a stunning job on a very difficult property in a conservation area. Added to this all of their staff were polite and courteous and really friendly. The job was quoted at 6 days but for a host of reasons it took 11 but there was not even mention that the price should increase, and it did not. I was so pleased with the job that I then arranged for them to replace the textured coating on the house, this of course was a different specialised team but they were again masters in their trade and have done a fantastic job.
