After searching for "Flat Roof Specialists" - I come across Arnold Building & Roofing Ltd. I was looking to have the surface of my Flat Roofed out-house renewed + surrounding guttering. My first impression was that this is a family run business of long standing (always a good sign in my experience). I was also impressed by the open & honest descriptions of the type of work they undertake & the plentiful options in contacting them. My first contact was with a lovely lady called Ann; who had a smiley, reassuring tone to her voice. Straight away Ann arranged for Mr Pat Doran to "come & have a look". Just like Ann, Pat was both friendly & confident & offered me his best professional advice, according my needs & budget. The outcome was, that Pat sent me an emailed confirmation of his Quote & I was delighted to accept. All work undertaken was of a very high standard (thank you Phil); & I would highly recommend company. You guys are "Simply the best!" From a very happy customer. MH

Superb service as usual. I had a leak into my lounge from an old capped chimney after the heavy rain last weekend. Pat came round Monday , sent Phil to look at it and Pat gave me an estimate Tues AM and Phil then carried out and completed the job that day. He removed the old top of the chimney, replaced timbers, slats and roof felt, added some fascia.and swopped out tiles so they matched. And of course cleared up. I couldn't even see where the old chimney had been when finished. Perfect job. Great firm, always efficient prompt service and excellent communication.

Arnold Building were doing some work on my neighbours house so I asked them to have a look a couple of damaged roof tiles. They were extremely helpful & advised that a few of our ridge tiles also needed replacing. They could start within a couple of weeks so we decided to have all the ridge tiles across our bungalow replaced. Very happy with their work & would highly recommend them.

Had Arnold Building and Roofing to replace the flat roof on our garage, together with the guttering and fascias. Very impressed with the workmanship. Excellent job. We liked the fact that the boss regularly dropped by to check up on how things were progressing and to check that we were happy as customers. Prices were very fair too. Would definitely recommend.

Had quite a few missing slates and ridge tiles needed repairing. Having received few quotes from different companies and after few no-shows I approached Arnold Building & Roofing Ltd after they have done work on my neighbours property. I would highly recommend them as the they attended the very next day to carry out the work. The quote was very competitive. Work completed to a high standard and extra works carried out which were not part of the quote. Both Pat and the chap carrying out the works were very friendly and professional. I am planning on getting some additional works done in the future and I am going to use Arnold Building & Roofing again. Would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic company to use. They came out straight away to fix my roof that was leaking into the loft. Very lovely people, left everything clean and tidy and I've already passed their details on to friends.

A really good service. After coming out and giving a quote they came back and cleaned the guttering, pointed some brickwork and installed a new drain pipe. Really happy with them, very clean and tidy, would recommend them to family and friends.

Pat (the owner) provided 2 separate quotes. The first to refit hip tiles, ridge tiles and broken tiles caused by the recent storms. The second quote was for new gutters and the fitting of UPVC soffits. Both quotes were very reasonable. Phil a lovely chap completed all the work in 3 days working hard tirelessly over 8 hours each day. Pat visited the site each day to keep us informed of progress.The finished work is of the highest quality. I would definitely use them again and am happy to give their service 5 stars

I was recommended Arnold Building & Roofing from a couple of my neighbours. Our chimney breast needed repointing, a couple of roof tiles fixing & edging stones replaced. Very reasonable quote, they were lovely chaps, helpful & very hard working I would certainly use again if needed.

Arnold Building & Roofing posted a 'flyer' through by door. Having had a quote the previous day I thought I would give them a call. Spoke to a lovely lady who arranged for someone to come and see me. An appointment was arranged for the next day. I was given a verbal quote which I accepted, this being £300.00 cheaper than a previous one. He explained they were very busy, as I only needed my Fascia's changed they managed to fit me in. I couldn't be happy, the gentleman was there from 10.00 till 3.00 and left my premises 'spick and span'. I would certainly recommend them.

I've used Arnold Building & Roofing Ltd twice this year, the first time at the beginning of January, when we had the bad rain, I had raining coming in through the ceiling into my bedroom. They came out, even though they were very busy, straight away and corrected the fault. I've had them come out again to check that there weren't any further damage, before having the bedroom redecorated and they did find some more damage that needing fixing, which they did, on the same day. I was in such a state when I had the leak a neighbour found them online for me and I would definitely use them again if needed and I'd be happy to recommend them.

My overall experience with Arnold Building And Roofing was very, very good, they are a very reliable company. Mr Doran came out on the same day I called to have a look at the job to see what needed doing. He then came out on the a Sunday and replaced all the guttering on the front and back of my house, it was pouring down with rain and he did not complain at all and did a very good job. He left everything nice and clean and tidy, removing all of the mess that was inside the gutter. I would definitely recommend them to others and have already recommended them to my neighbour.

We had Arnold Roofing out to do a full guttering replacement, front and back. They turned up when they said they would (pretty much to the precise minute), took two hours, cleaned up after themselves, and we're very happy. Staff were all polite. friendly, and more than willing to help and advise. Would recommend to anyone who has any guttering/roofing works that need doing.

My overall experience with Arnold Building & Roofing was very pleasant, I didn't really speak to them that much as they came out the day after my first enquiry and just got on with the job. My guttering was hanging off before we had the bad rain at the weekend, so I really needed to get the work done, they replaced guttering on three sides of the house and the downpipe. As the work was only done yesterday, it's not been tested by the weather (hence the 4 stars), but it has a 5 year guarantee and they said to contact them if there were any problems. I would recommend them to anybody.

My experience with Arnold Building And Roofing was fair to moderate, I had them come in to replace my guttering, fascias and soffits. I wasn't entirely happy with the work carried out, I felt it wasn't professional enough. I wanted them to replace the old wood that the guttering etc was attached to, but unfortunately they didn't and by the time I noticed it was too late. I would use them again, but I would need to make it clear exactly what I wanted them to do. I have recommend them to my Grand Daughter already.

Arnold Building And Roofing were very friendly, the boss came out to have a look at the roof and knew his job/business, he explained what they'd be doing and when they would come, I was very impressed, I had a call from his wife the evening before telling me they'd be round at 8:30 and that's exactly when they turned up. They re-pointed my chimney, replaced some ridge tiles and replace my guttering all round. They even cleaned out my neighbours guttering for free as that was having a negative effect on mine, which I thought was brilliant, I was kept informed with what they were doing and the lady called me again in the evening to make sure I was happy with everything, which I was. They're coming back in a couple of weeks to decorate my bedroom, as I was so impressed with them. I'd also be happy to recommend them.

I used this firm in November for repairs to my garage on an Insurance Claim and was impressed with their prompt Service and the Insurer was very happy with their price quoted. I therefore didn't hesitate to choose them to repair and repoint my ridge tiles and chimneys. Again, very prompt pleasant response the same day and work done to a high standard the following day and at a reasonable price. I have two further large jobs booked with them and would highly recommend them.

I used Arnold Building & Roofing Ltd a few years ago for some storm damage to my roof so I didn't hesitate to ring them again when the strong winds damaged my chimney and some ridge tiles, I was very nervous about being in a house with an unsafe chimney so they came out the very next day after I'd spoken to them and got everything sorted really quickly so I was very pleased. They left everything clean and tidy so I have no complaints there, I would certainly use them again, I was very happy with their services. Roofing is not a conversation that comes up very often but if it did, I would recommend them.

I found Arnold Building And Roofing Ltd in the NG16 book when the high winds had blown some slates off my roof, it wasn't a big job but they came promptly and did a good job for a good price, a nice lady even followed up with a phone call to see if everything was satisfactory which I thought was lovely. I've got some more work coming up that I need doing so I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to others.

The quality of the work they did for me was outstanding. They replaced some broken roof tiles for me and noticed there was a vent on top of the roof that needed re-cementing so did that as well. The staff were friendly and kept me up to date on what was happening and I can't say more than I am delighted with their service.

They repaired some ridge tiles and re-flaunched our chimney and did a great job. It was a Father and son team, the son did the work and the Father popped in during the day to check up on things. I have used Arnold Building And Roofing in the past but used them again to replace the roof on my carport. I really can't rate them enough; the staff were extremely friendly and had smiles on their faces while they were doing the work. They explained everything they were doing so I could understand and really put me at ease. I offered them some tea and food, but they politely declined and just got on with the work and didn't stop until it was complete, they also left everything clean and tidy after. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again in the future as its rare to find a good company where the staff have smiles on their faces while they work.

I have used Arnold Building And Roofing in the past but on this occasion had them in to do my facias, guttering and some work to the top of my canopy.
