The Roofing Company completed a full new slate tile roof including replacing large skylight windows and pointing. They turned up at 8am and worked flat out all day for 2 weeks, tidying up after themselves as they went. Very professional and competitively priced. Couldn't have asked for better service, very pleased.

Thistle Roofing has just completed my roof, fascia and roughcasting. From start to finish the company were extremely professional, hard-working and reliable. The work was completed to an extremely high standard from the time we got the quotation to completion and supervised by Derek who was very helpful and courteous. The customer care was excellent with no question unanswered and they left my property the way they found it. I would have no hesitation in recommending and hiring this company again.

After I inspected the work they did on my gutters in a suspiciously short time, I emailed to dispute the quality of work with the owner as the gutters were still pooling - not what was agreed. He called me with an intimidating and bullying manner insisting the work is done and threatened me with debt collectors. He had no interest in seeing for himself. I suggested I get a second opinion from another roofer but he rejected this. He was so unpleasant that I had to hang up. I emailed National Federation of Roofing Contractors for mediation then inforned Grant of this step and that I'd be in touch. He tried to dissuade me from this step and requested no more contact from me. He made a false allegation of fraud against me which the Police (who came to my house!) soon deemed to be malicious. The NFRC investigated them then informed me of the termination of Thistle Roofing's membership. Their debt collector ceased persuit of the bill after my explanation. AVOID!!

Having just had my roof replaced by Thistle Roofing I am happy to say that the whole experience was faultless from start to finish. Derek clearly explained the process to me before providing a very competitive quote, (a quote which was more than half that of another company who were providing the exact same materials). Tuesday - a team of 5 worked a solid 9 hour day to completely strip the roof and make it weather proof. Wednesday the same team returned and completed all the tiling work, leaving my property clean and tidy. A phonecall from Derek later that evening confirmed I was happy with the work completed. Thursday All scaffolding was removed and everything was back to normal again. The neighbours couldnt believe the efficiency of the team, who were all polite and courteous and really worked hard to complete the job within the quoted 2-day period. Thistle Roofing met and exceeded my expectations and I would therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Would like to say a huge thank you to Slatewise Slaters for the recent repair work they carried out on my roof. Stephen was really precise with the estimate and the work was carried out to a high level with no hidden shocks at the end of the repair.

Michael has replaced the roof on my rented out house, he was easy to find as he lives a few doors down from it! I received a very detailed and professional written quote which included all the materials and the methods used to install the new roof with the full price and the written 10 year warranty that was available. I had 3 roofers out to quote and Michael was the only roofer who provided a fully written quote and warranty! The job was completed with no fuss and I am very happy with the finished job. Very happy to recommend this roofing company.

Michael and his team have replaced our old roof. We chose to use Michael after he had completed a few of our neighbour's roofs last year. I cannot fault the way this business operates, from the scaffolding going up on time to the end product. No payment was taken until the job was finished and the gardens and drive where swept out every single day !

Thank you to Michael and his team for our new roof. Michael completed the agreed work on time and the new roof looks brilliant. There where a few extras that where done free of charge too. I cannot fault this business they worked through the storms during December to get it all finished and the scaffold down in time for xmas.

I have had my roof fixed twice already by 2 different roofing companies, however no one seemed to fix it. I was then recommended Allan by a friend and all I can say is what a difference. Allan was extremely thorough. He took before and after pictures of my job, explaining the issues and how to remedy them. Allan and his company are very professional and trustworthy. They worked through horrendous weather to get my job done. I cannot recommend them enough. They are reliable, reasonable and will not take advantage of you. Another great job done by Walter and his friendly staff. This is the third time in the last couple of years we have used W. B. Cunningham, this time it was some roughcasting on our gables. We always recommend them to any of our friends and I've only ever heard great things

We had a problem with the roughcast on the front of our house in that it was pourous and letting water through into the inside of the house and damaging the internal plaster work. I phoned quite a few companies however they either did'nt turn up or came out had a loook and then never came back. Walter came out at the stated time, identified the problem and gave what I consider to be a very fair price. As this was in November 2015 he advised that it would be better waiting until we had better weather as the roughcast required to be removed back to brick and reapplied. In May 2016 he came out and completed all the work. required. What a difference it has made. The colour match is very good to the extent you wouldn't know it had been done against the rest of the house. I am very happy with the work carried. He will be coming back out later in the year to repair my monoblock drive and some rendering on the steps at the rear of my house. Professional job done well.

Walter and his team came to change the height of my 2 chimneys, We found them to be very professional and polite, despite the weather they came when they said they would, very pleased with the job, would highly recommend Walter and his team, I will be using them again

With the way things are in the roofing trade for materials etc I was pleasantly surprised by being kept informed about any changes to my delivery of tiles etc and by the very professional workmen and workmanship now that my roof is complete. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company as they are well worth the wait. Many thanks to all involved
