    • We had a taxi booked for pick up and were watching our phones in the lead up since we couldn't see the rd from where we were and it was far too cold to wait outside. 10 mins after the arranged pick up time the company had made no contact. I called up assuming the driver was delayed, only to find out he had sat for 6 mins and then went on another job. Instead of being apologetic, the operator was rude and suggested I 'use my eyes' rather than relying on my phone! There were no signal problems at all, it was perfectly reasonable to expect a phonecall on arrival, but we received nothing. Shocking customer service and expensive, I will not be using this company again, next time I'll get an Uber.

    • Abbey used to be very good but since they brought in a new automated system they are hopeless. I waited 25 minutes for an immediate pick-up - it would have been quicker to go by bus. Taxis can come 15 minutes early or very late - the timing is completely random. Friends have had the same experience - seems to have been particularly bad for the past couple of months.

    • Absolutely rubbish company and service. Called for taxi and asked how long it would be, 10 minutes they said. After 20 minutes waiting called them again and they said another 10 minutes. Waited for a further 20 mins then called them for the third time. They admitted they hadn't actually even sent anyone yet. Was stating out in the cold for 40 minutes total - had to call another company in the end.

    • Booked to go races the day before. Taxi was late so called and they just said they were busy! Taxi turned up 10 minutes late and we missed the first race. Booked taxi back .. waited and waited - called company only to be told they had given the taxi to someone else! Eventually got a cab after speaking to a rude controller. Absolutely rubbbish company and wouldnt recommend

    • Possibly the worst taxi experience of my adult life. I booked 6 separate taxis for a hen weekend and every single booking was incorrect. The people answering the phones are rude and incompetent. Do not use this firm!

    • Fantastic service when I was concerned about my mother being stuck at Bath bus station and needing a lift back to Calne. All staff were as concerned as I was being that it was late at night, and they kept giving me updates by phone telling me when they had picked her up. Also, very reasonably priced considering it was after midnight and a fair distance. I will use them again and recommend them. Thank you V Cars!

    • Called for taxi and couldn't believe how rude the lady was. The taxi turned up 25 minutes after the time I booked it, meaning I missed my train. Called and asked if I could speak to manager and was told to 'get a life' and hung up on.

    • I booked 2 taxis from the city centre. I tried to track the first because it was late but we were told 'there was nobody there' I reordered it and asked for another one for me and a differeny freind going eleswhere and asked what tariff it would be on because it was now after 12 ... he had no idea what a tariff was... he said my first taxi would be after the second and I said no because that would mean a person to be left in town on their own waiting .. he said well wait regardless of that costing me more due to their mistake I eventually spoke to a supervisor who was sarcastic to me and did not specify when my taxi would be available then the taxi man turned up and recklessly drove in the middle of the road back back to my village alobg Aroads which I filmed The driver also took a bypasses in a different direction to my village and then argued how far away my house was that I have been living in for 25 years, same call office and drivers to Abbey Never again

    • Wish I could give them no stars at all so rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried to get my family who aren't even from around here a lift to the train station, didn't know where they were going and they were so un helpful and then black listed me a year later I still can't get a taxi use someone else absolutely ludicrous!!!!!!!!!!!

    • After numerous contacts with the company to confirm our booking, collection from Bath to Bristol airport went without a hitch. Unfortunately not the same can be said on our arrival at the airport 10 days later. After emailing, texting and leaving voicemail to confirm pick up at 0115 the day before and on the the day itself, no one was there or tried to contact us regarding our booking. Was left out of pocket and very annoyed in the middle of the night being left stranded. Will not be using them again.

    • I was phoned at 10pm to say that my airport pick up for 10am the next morning could not be done. After several contacts with the company in advance.I will NEVER use this company again and would recommend to anyone to avoid.

    • Complete rip off they charged us for their journey to our house, I understand a starting fee which is fine but it was almost £10 as we got in and they thought it was odd and said all taxis charge from when they start driving to your house, number saved on my phone as rip off taxi firm so I know never to accidentally book them again!
