Taxis in Betws-y-Coed, Gwynedd

I met one of Castle Cabs drivers as I came over the bridge in Llanrwst late last night. As I came over the crest of the bridge (leaving Llanrwst) I was met by Castle Cabs (driving into Llanrwst) we both stopped, the Castle Cabs driver then drove aggressively towards me stopping inches from the front of my car they then proceed to refuse to move and kept their lights on full beam. After a stand off of about a minute I reversed back over the crest, back onto the A road only to have the driver flip me the finger as he drove past. The driver needs to understand 3 points (the least important first). 1. The local tradition is that whoever is over the crest first has right of way. 2. The signage on the bridge indicates that I had right of way. 3. It is illegal to reverse onto a A road (which I was forced to do). Congratulations Castle Cabs some of the worst driving I have seen in a long time, I just hope you didn't have paying customers in the cab for their sake.

If you are looking for someone exceptionally rude then give them a call, if you are looking for a taxi service look elsewhere!

This taxi company was recommended to me by the hotel I was staying in. I pre-booked a taxi to collect myself and family from the cinema at Llandudno Junction and take us back to our hotel in Llandudno. The driver arrived on the dot. The driver was very friendly and polite and the journey was very comfortable. I was very happy with the service and I would definitely use them again. Thank you.

I am extremely upset with this service, I ordered a taxi at 11:40pm they said it would be here in 20 minutes time, I waited an hour and a half a taxi finally showed so I ran to get my shoes on and open the door to find it had disappeared, I ran up the company for the 3rd time asking where my taxi was and an EXTREMELY RUDE woman answered and said she waited a whole of five minutes (a lie-3 at max as I hurried) and drove off, I told her I went as fast as I could which was no time at all and she hung up the phone, I wasnt disgusted!!! I am under the age of 18 and now having to walk 40 minutes home on my own at 1 in the morning all due to this horrible service I recieved!!! Not happy at all!!!

Absolutely appalling! Don't recommend. Me and my friend got told it was 46 minutes to wait for a taxi so we waited in disbelief of how long it would be and then she rang them up to be told they weren't that far away so we waited 2 hours, and then she rang them again to be told they were in Abergele in which we replied how long will you be? And they said 10 minutes so we waited 10 minutes and they didn't even arrive.

Thanks Red Skoda driver for overtaking me and cutting me up coming onto the Britania bridge half hour ago , there is a thing called an indicator stalk on your steering column , learn how to use it . I would be very worried if I was a passenger in your car with your incompetent driving

Not reliable company at all less and less drivers. Problem is they cant get drivers to work for them. Drivers they do have either want to work 9 -5 or are just part time retired drivers. Owner should pull his finger out fix this.

Use to be a good firm but in the last year gone down hill. Fewer drivers at night meaning taxis never come on time.

Stood waiting for my taxi which is currently 10 mins late booked it 1 hour and 15 mins ago!! Joke service no answer when calling booked it 10 mins earlier than I needed it for a hospital appointment. Always late!!
