Awful company. Really rude, disrespectful staff. Booked a taxi on the app, they took my money straight away yet the ride didnt show up on the app, so waited 10 mins and called up to ask about it, only to find out theyd took my money without even dispatching a car. I was greeted by a lady called Emma and was spoken to completely unprofessionally and quite frankly horribly. Due to this I cancelled the taxi and took a ride with a more “trusty company.” I asked Swift when I would get my refund and they said within 24 hours. It has now been 9 days, I have been contacting them at least twice a day, I keep getting hung up on, transferred to a “manager” during which the line drops, or told a manager will call me back after prayer time, of course I am yet to ever receive a call back. Looking back I should have known not to trust a company with 3 names. Swift online, Elite when they answer the phone and Nearby Cars when it comes out of your bank. Dodgy. Now proceeding with police and CA.

Wonderful service...they picked my teenage son up from Huddersfield late at night and made sure that he got home safely would highly recommend this company

Had an altercation with one of Swift cars drivers today (whilst out in my own car) the driver called me a c**t with my 7 yr old daughter in car with me! Phoned & complained and manager phoned me back & said he couldnt identify the driver & couldnt take it further. I said you dont seem very forthcoming with an apology on his behalf and he replied why should I apologise when I didnt do it... erm because your the manager & therefore have a certain amount of responsibility for their actions & behaviour on the road. Disgusted!!!!!

Booked on the app. Took my last £25 (for a £12 job) realised half way that they had it as a cash booking. Asked driver. Told me had to pay by cash. Called company and explained I dont have any more money and I had already paid £25 they said thats not their problem and my bank would refund that £25 in a few days. I explained I cant pay now as i have no more money and they said that wasnt their problem. Pulled up in a dark country road in the middle of nowhere in a storm with threat to life weather warning and threatened to pull me out if I didnt get out. My PTSD was triggered. I called 999 and only then did the driver agree to take me to a safe location while I was crying in a panic to the 999 operator and and hes saying “your doing my head in now” I was genuinely scared for my life I thought he was going to attack me in a country road.

Found CJ's after I needed a cab to get me to the vets with the dog and found this firm the only one that would take pets. Great bunch of lads and the lady driver Dion who was very helpful.

Absolute criminals ... drivers who cannot drive let alone understand... I had to give him directiins charged different fare each journey and feel uncomfortable

I booked a taxi from perrys to my home which was fine driver was lovely then later I had to do the return trip back to perrys and I didnt feel safe in the return trip driver going too fast esp by the bus station on the ring road I was glad to get out of cab at the end a bad journey will not be using lockwood cabs again

Absolutely appalling service. Booked taxi to collect company director from Manchester Airport at 22.15 on 25/06/18, paid by card there and then over the phone. No taxi appeared at the airport and when i called their switchboard at 23.30, they advised no taxi had been dispatched as they had written down the flight number incorrectly. I asked why they had not used one of the three contact numbers given at the time of booking to clarify the situation rather than leaving the passenger stranded at the airport, to which they replied, we lost the numbers and the flight number. I was advised a driver was 20 minutes away from the airport and he would be diverted, and that i must call the office in the morning and speak with the owner who would reimburse some of the fare to compensate. When i called the following day i was told there would be no refund and as id paid by card and not cash, and because i had told them the flight number over the phone and not written it myself. Extremely rude staff

£10 for a 4 mile journey. We were charged £7 for the same trip with Holmfirth cars.

4 mile journey at 5pm: £10. They told us the cost upfront (so it's not a one-off driver ripping us off). We are new to the area so assumed that must just be going the rate. We got Holmforth cars back who charged £7 and they said that it's disgusting we were charged £10. We know who we will use from now on!

So disappointed orderd a taxi via the app, using the last of my money in my account. Car was booked to pick up my 12 year old. The company claims they were there for 15 mins and that they called my number 5 times. So the driver left. I was then told that there was nothing they could done. My money will be refunded but in 2-5days. Im now stuck. Cant order another taxi as my account is empty and I dont drive. Used this company for years and cant believe they couldnt simply send the driver back. My son was ready and waiting, my phone has had no missed calls and my money was taken. But the service wasnt provided and its just tough

Apparently it was too much trouble to leave the car and walk the 10 metres to the venue. I watched the taxi I ordered drive off and was told that it had gone to pick up another fare. Sloppy, lazy, poor.
