Taxis in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

I have used Courteous Travel for over 3 years and they really are what they say they are; Courteous . If they cannot make a journey, they always provide a suitable alternative. They are not expensive and remarkably provide a value add of ancillary services which has never been provided by any other taxi company that I've used, ie. Bottle of water and a pint of milk when you get off the plane in case there's nothing in the fridge on your return home. Also, negotiating a comparable price with a suitabe taxi company when they aren't able to take on a journey. They are also friendly and kind.

1st class. Punctual, clean minibus, polite driver both ways. Milk, bread and water on our return was a great and unexpected bonus. Will definitely use them again

Absolutely fantastic experience. Took us to Luton and back, was there on time with good communication and we were also given a bottle of water each after our flight. Would recommend to everyone, best taxi service I have had so far.

Terrible company. I pre-booked and they didnt turn up. When I called they at first claimed not to have the booking. I asked the agent to check with his manager. He then agreed they did have the booking and sent a car: 35 mins late. No apology or explanation. They dont care.

Awful. This taxi company should be shut down. I booked a pre paid taxi for 4am. I called the day before to check it would arrive, and I was informed that it would. The taxi did not arrive. I was left stranded, a 22 year old young woman, in the dark, alone. I managed to get another taxi - I called the company the next day, to ask them to cover the difference, which was refused. I did not receive an apology. Without a doubt the worst taxi company I have ever come across.

Booked a cab in advance to take me to the station. They werent there at the time - 15 minutes later I got a text saying they were very busy, but not giving me an updated time. I texted again. Nothing. I called the number - disconnected. Half an hour after the appointed time they still werent there; I had missed my train. I didnt get an apology or an explanation. They really let me down.

Do not use if you want to get home. I received an email confirming the pick up at 22.30 from a small village in south Cambridge. At 22.37 I received another email saying the taxi had been cancelled. I phoned and they said they hadn't got the postcode for the address and that they had tried to phone me. I had no missed calls. My daughter spoke to them and they put the phone down on her. In the end after several calls Panther taxis came to the rescue. Unacceptable lack of concern for their customers.

Late. Rude. Avoid. The cab took forty minutes to arrive. The driver was aggressive, and told us we got the name of our own street wrong. Never have I had such an appalling experience with a taxi company. Avoid at all costs, they do not deserve your custom.

Amazing taxi service,but book half an hour at least before as these are a small local company and drivers are nice

This is the most trust worthy company. That day i was drunk and let my iphone in one of the taxi. After few days i went searching for it. they have a lost and found desk where i got my phone back.

I have used this taxi service many times because they are actually very good to use at times when you are late to meetings or any events. The main reason is that many times I was late to office but the driver of this taxi service in Huntingdon helped me reach the office premises right on time. The drivers are experienced and they are also helpful when the passengers are in distress.
