Taxis in Evercreech, Shepton Mallet, Somerset

Called a day before for collection from a local wedding venue. Booked and got to collection area on time. Waited 30 mins after constant phone calls, then only to be picked up by a different company a hour later after giving up. All in all I wouldn't reccomend this company. Try Craig's taxis.

Used Village Cabs once at silly oh hour after calling a few other so called 24hr companies and have used them ever since, she turned up smiling and as chatty as if it was mid day, like the other user says, nothing seems to be too much trouble and have never let me down yet. Many thanks guys

This company is fantastic. Very good value for money. The car was fab and the driver was very friendly.Usually I travel from Shepton Mallet to Bristol but I travel other places as well and this company's service is veryreliable, comfortable and price wise cheaper than others. I rate it 7 stars...

I had a left from Shepton to Bath buss station. The Driver was on my door 5 mins prior to picking time. He was so friendly and cooperative. The car was really clean, tidy & spacious. The fare was cheaper than anyone else. I can honestly recommend swift-cars to anyone for its excellent service

First class service. Rang to book two days beforehand to be picked up at Castle Cary rail station. David was waiting for us. No problem getting us to our destination. Easy going likeable local chap. Would recommend.

Generally very reliable during normal business hours but don't have many drivers on in the evening where there can be very long delays. Drivers are generally polite and helpful. Most of the cars and drivers are presentable and indeed some of the cars are immaculate but there are a couple of drivers and cars that are totally unacceptable. These cars are littered with rubbish, food wrappers, half eaten lunch, weird fishing lures and other paraphernalia that is too disturbing to contemplate. The drivers of these vehicles are not well presented either, they wear the same dirty, stained clothes week after week. The cars have an unpleasant odour. Wookey, you know who they are. In my opinion the poor hygiene standards of a couple of people are badly letting down what would otherwise be a fine taxi operator. I am surprised that Mendip District council have not clamped down on this.

I had to use Wookey recently to visit my husband in Taunton. I had telephoned around for a price from Wells and decided to book with Wookey. The drivers who took me were all so kind and considerate to me at such a difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank You so much.

Appalling. I booked this taxi to pick me up on a Saturday night at the end of a wedding. It was the middle of nowhere. I was absolutely depending on this firm. I even confirmed the booking 4 days prior. They didn't show up.

I've used dial a cab for years and the service just gets better and better! All the drivers go out of their way to be helpful and are so courteous and professional. Available 7 days a week and were even able to cover my early starts for me. Definitely the no 1 service provider for Gillingham and north dorset.
