I am a disabled lady with a dog and I rely on cabs daily for appointments, shopping etc... these drivers are so helpful they even hold my dog when I go in shop.... I only use them now they are friendly, efficient, kind and bonus the cheapest in town at ONLY ?2.50 for local runs .... thank you crystal cabs

Good reliable taxis at a very fair price

Very disappointing. Taxis 15 minutes late on last two occasions, drivers get lost and dont know local area very well. When they promised to ring back with a quote they didn't. Expensive and inconsistent pricing - they charged me £8 for one 3-mile trip and £15 for another 3-mile trip. Often dont answer the phone! Very poor customer care so wont be using them again.

Comfy cab and a very smooth quiet ride. Only let down by a slightly higher fare than we're used to for this trip.

Ordered a taxi the day before in order to ensure I arrived in time for a train. No taxi arrived so phoned A1 up only to be told they could not find my booking. They did send a taxi and I made my train with 2 minutes to spare, this possible only due to the taxi driver. This is the second time this has happened.

Taxi never arrived, when we phoned to find out where it was we were told the operator had booked us in for the wrong timings!

A good call car company, with friendly drivers and mostly clean cars. As they are popular, it is best to book in advance if you need a car for a busy timeday, or be prepared to wait.

Used Fox cars twice over the past week and I have never felt so unsafe in a cab. Neither driver could drive without either almost hitting the verge or constantly driving on the cats eyes. Deliberately pulling out in front of other cars on roundabouts. (Which I remember him doing to me in Cornard and having the cheek to put his arm out the window sticking his finger up at me when I give him a horn) i watched his speedo cruising at 37mph on a dual carriageway, and slowing down to let people in off a slip road with no other car in the outside lane, and absolutely no control of his accelerator. Generally just terrible drivers, with no awareness or consideration to other drivers.

As a wedding venue owner, Elite and Fox Cars have always been reliable and trustworthy, I would and do use them both professionally and personally for wife and family.

Absolute joke of a taxi firm. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a taxi during the day for a 1am pickup from a local pub, got to 1.20am and still no one turned up. Luckily managed to get a different taxi. Will never use Able Taxis again and will strongly advise no one else does.

Dirty car , had to share back seat with drivers lunch, driver drove dangerously and exceeded speed limit full length of journey , absolutely terrified me when hitting 80 mph. On A140 towards Long Stratton ( should be 50mph. To 30mph.) Never again . And then at the end of horrific journey overcharged.

Terrible... At 3pm, I ordered a taxi for 4pm and they said theyd be there. I waited outside for them 5mins early, and rung 3 times between 4:05-4:20 and nobody has answered the phone once. It's currently 5pm and I have heard nothing else from them, and consequently missed my bus...

Awful taxi service, absolutely clueless. Didnt know were they were going, cold taxi.

Honestly Ive never been more scared. They promised to pick me up at midnight and they they failed to show up. I walked for 3hrs in the dark as there was no alternative avoid at all cost

Despite having good reviews as a service on the whole. There is a need to point out that they employ very poorly qualified drivers. I have had opportunity as an observer, to view that one of their drivers was verbally offensive to other drivers on the road. This came as he had children in the car, on a school run. Not wearing a facemask it was possible to observe the expletives coming from his mouth. All this after the rived had also knocked off another drivers wing mirror. Choosing to plough on rather than pull over the let cars pass. The driver chose not to stop and apologise, but castigate and swear at the other driver. The poor reaction to this 'minor' incident was reinforced by the management of the companies intransigence and unwillingness to view the dash cam footage available or even give drivers details. I would like to say this is a one off event. However lack of characters available prevent me more. Use at your own risk. There are better taxi services around.

As a guest around these parts I have been treated as an inconvenience and charged 12£ because it was far for him to travel. Given these circumstances, I'd rather walk and advise you to do so.

Taxi was booked for 10pm and failed to arrive luckily I was able to sort my lift out not happy an wont be using this ferm again
