Taxis in Llangammarch Wells, Powys

Just flagged down in the town for a short ride of about 4 miles. All good thank you cabbie.

Terrible! Dont turn up and make nonsense excuses and cant handle questions.

Unreliable! On two separate occasions, I have ordered a minibus to collect me and a number of my friends, however as no minibuses were available at the time, I was offered to have 2 cars instead, which would have been fine, had they actually turned up! Both times only one car showed up, and the driver couldnt seem to care less that he was leaving 4 people stranded in the cold at 3am with no way to get home! The driver gave the excuse that he was told he wasnt going to be working late, and that his friend finished at 12! If that was the case I would expect to be told when I ordered the taxi, not when Im waiting on the kerb with 8 people waiting to get home

**WORST TAXI EXPERIENCE** After being told we couldn't order a minibus, we ordered two taxis and only one showed up. The taxi driver was incredibly rude, refused to take any responsibility for the mistake and stated plainly that he wouldn't do two trips to pick up our other 4 friends as other drivers from the same company finished "at 12". He was more than happy to leave 4 people in an almost empty town despite the near freezing temperature and heavy rain that showed no sign of clearing up, which is completely unacceptable. I will NOT be using this company again as this is not the first time this has happened.

The worst experience in a taxi! The man was the rudest driver I have ever been with! He was obnoxious and just plain rude! We ordered two taxis and only one turned up! This has happened twice! It was the taxi companies fault and the driver refused to accept it! He would not go back to pick our friends up, even though they had no means of getting home. I am NEVER using this company again and neither should anyone else!

I was appalled at the abuse Nick shouted at another driver when he almost collided with their car because Nick was driving so fast on a country lane. He struggled to stop in time whilst the other car became stationary. Then hurled expletives and abuse to other driver before again screeching away like a maniac. Please, if you have any consideration for other people or animals don't just sit there! Ask him to slow down. You may be getting a cheaper fare by arriving at your destination faster but think of people walking their dogs, riding their horse or just driving sedately home. I wouldn't use him personally but people need taxi's.

I called a handful of taxi firms in the Lampeter area, but the only one to answer was NickH, so they got my business, a single trip from Lampeter to Carmarthen railway station; job done. Timbo.
