Taxis in Marlborough, Wiltshire

Suppose to be a 5 star my mum rings up for a taxi and they call back and tell her they cannot pick her up. Poor service then give her another taxi number that doesn't even answer

My Canadian guests booked a taxi from Vespasian Road to Bedwyn station. The woman on the phone said she didn't know the road so my guest offered a postcode, which was declined, and the booking was made anyway. 15 minutes after the booking time, there was no taxi and no one had called us. I called and was told "they actually asked for 'The Station Road', which was odd because there's no Station Road in Marlborough." I asked why on earth they didn't try to clarify, and she said "Well, I tried but I didn't get very far!" This was blatantly untrue as my guest had clearly offered a postcode. I then asked why they made the booking anyway, got no answer and instead was offered a taxi on the spot which was now way too late to be useful. I declined and the woman said "Goodbye then" and hung up. No apology and clearly thought it was our fault! My friend's accent is not so thick that they could not have a clear conversation. They're now $60 out of pocket on non-refundable train tickets.

Tried to book a taxi more than 2 weeks in advance for a midnight pick up after a party in Marlborough. Just got told 'no, we wouldn't do that'. Are they a taxi company or not?

Booked but did not show up. Taxi driver claims he was there but we had full clear view of the road so know the taxi was not there. Called the office numerous times but no answer (had "popped out for an hour" - why not divert the phone?). Why didn't the driver ring us, or walk to the door and knock if he was there? Would not use them again. One star because it's the minimum I could give.

Loverly mini buses great for wheelchairs or groups of passengers, plus the black cabs.

taxi arrived on time speeding driving at 50 mph in a 30mph not safe asked him to stop and walked home dangerous driving

Top service both from prompt, polite and professional drivers with spotless vehicles. And from the attentive, accommodative and patient office staff. No fault in the company. Never had any issues and any disputes with fares or complaints have been taken seriously and explained extensively as to why it may have happened. For an excellent service in and around Swindon, Id highly recommend SN1 Cars as your first choice.

Taxi turned up 25 mins late; taxi was booked two and half hours I advance and then I was asked for directions why a joke. No apologis. Wont be using again.

Driver had no idea where he was going. Had to direct him all the way. His English was very bad, so was his driving.

What a joke...taxi booked two days in advance, called the day before to confirm. Total no show which meant i nearly missed my train and plane....i will never be booking with these cowboys again. 0/5
