We pre-booked and pre-paid for two cars to collect at 12:30am. No one showed up to collect so we phoned the company who told us theyd not yet allocated a driver but they would be there in 15 mins. 15 mins later no one had arrived so we phoned back and were told they were nearly there. This continued for 2 hours!!! We were reassured they were almost there and then no one appeared. Only once in that entire time did the person we spoke to actually put us on hold to contact a driver and at no point did anyone apologise. In the end just one car showed up so we had to then go and collect our remaining party ourselves. On asking for a refund (which feels entirely justified given our experience) we were told we would be refunded only for the car that did not show up.and they still didnt apologise, merely excused the situation by saying theyd been very busy. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called a Taxi for asap... after 15 minutes i called again, they said 2 minutes... after an other 20 minutes the taxi arrived, Thank you, i missed my Doctor appointment. I will never call this number ever again, i will rather pay more for other company or just walk.

Where to even start. Worst experience EVER with a taxi firm. If you want to be left stranded for hours even when you've pre booked (if they can find your pre booking that is that was the first issue) then use these people. Poor communication between the office and drivers. Over charging because THEY can't find you? (despite specific instructions rung through to the office - note my point above about poor communication) then drivers telling you there's no point pre booking as the jobs are just given out on the day and it's who's available and wants the job? Horrific. Avoid unless love stress. Oh and the lack of empathy was amazing. Having had 2 taxis turn upto the wrong location and go again and then being told we couldn't have anymore we asked our driver (when they finally arrived) if they would go back for those stranded. His response "I'm not sure it's worth it for the money"??? Couldn't even be bothered to lie and say "I'm sorry I would but I have another fare" Still amazed.

I had a phone in the taxi took a post code out of the phone to give the driver and forgot the phone in the taxi i then phoned up the company and explained the receptionist says i can get the phone for a small fee afterward realising that i had no intention for paying the small fee she lied about the driver not being able to find it i do not trust the drivers and worse off the secretary plus the pre booked services they have is rubbish booked a taxi for 7am they turn up at the wrong door anyone with business plans on opening a taxi company please do no competion at all

Always reliable, the only taxi firm I use in Swindon, cheap fayer and lovely drivers.

I have used them for years, but the other day the taxi came early, couldn't find us and just went off. We got to our gate five minutes early and he'd gone. The people on the switchboard didn't care. I don't suppose he was even reprimanded. And it took us half an hour for another taxi to come. This should NOT be the behaviour of a reputable taxi firm.

Unfortunately I will not use V Cars of Swindon anymore. Have been their customer for 9 years now, used them many times each year for in-town and airport travels. Got let down by them this time. Their driver was 9-10 minutes late to pick me up and I missed my train. So had to buy a new train ticket. There was no traffic, no rush hour, no school run, I called them well in advance to book a car - and still the driver was so late! But the worst disappointment was their so called "supervisors". As I raised a complaint they didn't seem to care much about the level of disappointment and frustration I experienced. They didn't care about me missing my train, paying for a new ticket, etc. They considered that situation was normal. But it is just not! V Cars always advertise themselves as being extra quick and arriving always on time - no, V Carts in Swindon is not a taxi service its used to be. And I'm not spending a penny more with them. And neither will my family. Get things sorted, V Cars!
