Very highly recommend. They text to say they are on their way and when arrive. They are great at finding difficult to find addresses. Reliable, punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you

Nice cars and friendly drivers

Possibly the worst cab firm in Suffolk. Some of their drivers are incredibly rude and don't seem to mind overcharging. I wouldn't recommend using this firm if you want to arrive at your destination on time!

Booked a taxi the previous night for a 7.30 am pick up. Got a phone at 7.10 am saying that they could not meet the booking and the person who accepted it should not have. First and only time I will attempt to use them.

Terrible service, got my whole journey wrong and dropped me in a completely different town which I did not know, when I phoned back all I got was a woman making excuses trying to tell me it was my fault, wouldn't recommend, I will certainly never use them again!

Said I wanted a taxi for new years and they hung up straight away and I heard a sigh, didnt even have the decency to say they were fully booked

Have used this company alot recently always on time and very reasonable fares. Polite drivers.

My drivers are so polite and the cars are spotless as well. They are very smartly attired and happy to converse on the journey as well even at 5.20 am in the morning or 8.20 in the morning to ipswich railway station, I was using another company as cheaper but I use them all the time now.

Rude women wouldn't move only a little forward when I asked her as waiting behind her for a few mins so I could park in a car space out side My house as she was blocking car park, she only had to move a little, but no, but it was OK for me to reverse for her once she picked up her fair!!!

This taxi firm takes advantage of vunrable elderly people thats just left hospital after heart problems. Driver made out he didnt know where he was going and strung out the ride as they wasnt busy. Ipswich hospital to Felixstowe beach holiday park he was going to be charged £55! I called and asked how much the same journey was and was told £22! This taxi firm are low lifes!

Absolutely disgusting company, driver driving down the road speeding nearly crashed into my car then threatens to cut my face open , and mess me up ??. What a complete joke of a company - have reported the driver to the police!. Stay away from these clowns.

Safe to say that I will not be using Avenue Taxis ever again. After booking a taxi 50 mins before my train was due (which I believed to be plenty of time having made the journey with other providers over 20 times), I was told it would arrive in 10 minutes. 3 calls later (in which it was still claimed to be 10 mins away), 35 minutes down the line and I'm still waiting for my taxi. I have just exited my road in the taxi as my train is leaving the station. Fantastic! I have to then proceed to buy a new train ticket at triple the cost and the taxi firm have since not offered anything. Instead, they have blamed me for leaving it to the last minute and recommended that I book the taxi when I book the train tickets. I have to book train tickets 6 weeks in advance due to the cost so it isn't feasible. In summary, a shambles of a company who aren't delivering any type of service let alone a good one. If you want to be horrendously late and miss connections, then this taxi firm is for you!

Avenue are not fit for purpose. The drivers are fine but the controllers are rude and abusive. I have never been so insulted, despite formally using the company many times each week. Best avoided

Awful service and experience.

Booked a taxi to celebrate our office Christmas event and when we called Avenue Taxis at 2:04pm to ask where they were, we were told our driver was just around the corner and pulling in. We then called again at 2:09pm and were told there was no record of our booking. Then we were told they had it but the driver had driven off and put us down as a no-show (despite the fact the same taxi company had actually driven us to the restaurant in the first place). Then the manager of the drivers, David Meer, told us the driver refused to come back again and that they would have to get us another car. This eventually turned up so late we got to our massage 20 mins late. Shocking & won't use again for business or leisure purposes!

Booked a taxi to pick me up from xmas party on Thursday. Taxi left me the last person in the building on Saturday had to phone to remind them that I had booked taxi, was thirty minutes late 12.50, not professional. Will not use again.

Driver never spoke and we paid £9 to go just 2 miles!!! Shocking

Can not recommend this taxi firm as they fail to turn up on time and cause our daughter nothing but stress she is often up to an hour late for college.

Do not use this company, you have been warned. Booked a cab for 23:15 and after finally getting hold of them @ 23:45 we was told it arrived at 23:21. A taxi went past the house around that time but unless they expected us to jump in a moving car I don't accept that as an arrival. No call no text nothing. Can't give zero stars so 1 will have to do.

Agree with the other rating. We booked for 10.30 and it turned up at 11.25! We won't be using them again. No communication and no apology despite the same cabby on the way back! Use them if you're desperate but not otherwise.

If you don't mind a taxi turning up ten minutes or later than you ordered it then Pride cars are a good choice

Not what i expected - poor service, filthy car - definitely not recommended - cant give zero stars of i would.

Called at 10am for a taxi to collect us at 11:45am from Asda. Hasnt turned up its now 12:31 no one is answer the office phone and it is all locked up as I walked down there in the pouring rain. Cant walk home as mum is disabled and cant always walk places. Now stuck in town waiting for 1hr for another taxi company to come collect us. We use this company a lot but will never ever use this company again because of this, AVOID at all costs appalling service

Tried to order a taxi and when I explained when one of our party was disabled the man laughed and hung up the phone. I tried to call back and he said I don't have a booking and hung up. I called to speak to the manager but as soon as I asked he hung up again. Extremely rude, discriminative never use!!

From the rude woman who answered the phone to the driver who didnt seem to know how to drive... Avoid!

Very shocking experience, like the person above i had a truly awful encounter with the lady in the office, finding her to be very unreasonable and quite rude, her attitude was despicable and the driving standards of the taxi cab driver was just as bad, will never use again and would advise other to avoid at all costs.

Absolutely awful organisational skills, customer service and delivery of service. The office staff were very rude and unhelpful, and despite me phoning three times they still sent the taxi, twice to the wrong place. I stand here in the freezing cold, watching my breath mist before me and still don't have a taxi!
