Taxis in Middlesbrough, Cleveland

I would totally recommend this taxi firm. My Grandad who is 90 years old needed a taxi from Newcastle Airport to his home address in middlesbrough and does not have a mobile phone so contact with him was a no go but the taxi driver kept in touch with me constantly and he was picked up and arrived safely without complications. The taxi driver was exceptional. Well done Royal Taxis.

Left hanging for over 45 mins in Sunderland after booking and making full payment Of £48.00 to be piked up for 6.30. Shocking service of customer care when contacted via telephone.

Have just returned from taking dear friends to Teeside Airport for their early morning flight. They had pre booked their Royal taxis days ago and checked night before all confirmed. Waited 10 minutes after pick up time and rang to be told there was noone available and it would be another hour. They would then miss their check in time for flight. There was no apology. This is disgusting customer service and for these dear friends who badly need a holiday after recent health scares it was a stressful experience they didn't deserve. Shame on you.

Ordered a taxi sat evening on the 16th of July on line . So as not to miss taxi went directly outside of address I was at so as not to miss it ! Taxi incidentally indicated 15 mins , my phone rang indicating taxi had arrived and also having took my money with the online booking no taxi arrived ! Tried calling no answer have used this firm for years and the latter getting worse . I now will never use this outfit ever again as seem to be becoming a cowboy outfit pitch up when they feel like it . One unsatisfied X customer

I rang these twice on Saturday night, they said they were sending someone out to pick us but both taxi's never arrived so missed my night out. Would not rely on this company again whether it's the cheapest or not.

Completely reliable firm, refuse to use any other when Im down in Stockton & Middlesbrough. Met some fantastic drivers with plenty of stories and feel safe and secure throughout my journeys. If only all taxi firms had the same values when it comes to customer service

With our flight into Manchester Airport being delayed by 3 hours we were so grateful that Dave from Moorside didn't abandon us like the thieves from j and p did last time around. Brilliant and dependable Moorside from now on.

After being recommend to us by a friend we used Moorside for our family holiday through Newcastle Airport. The driver was fantastic. On time in both directions and in a really nice minibus. Really helpful and chatty, great with the kids and nothing was a problem for him. Highly recommended.

Nothing is too much trouble for Dave Moorside. Shouldn't really be saying this, but he should be charging double for the service that he provides. Brilliant from start to finish.

Big thanks to Dave from Moorside who is now our first choice when booking travel. Previous company sent us a misery guts driver. Dave Moorside was the exact opposite, great fun and very helpful. You're stuck with us now Dave.

Phoned 3 times for a taxi on Saturday night. I appreciate they would probably be busy. But phone was answered with 'hello, skyline taxis then call ended. I found this ignorant and unacceptable for any business. I will never phone for this firm again.

Dreadful service don't use them never arrived on time

Daughter ordered taxi and when arrived demanded payment up front. Was to and from a residential address in a “nice” area. Driver was very abrupt and rude in the demand. Now I have no issue with payment up front if really required generally in a flight risk situation but it was a £3-80 fare with a sober single girl involved. Turned them away as was not willing to risk putting her in there with his appalling attitude

Rang their business by accident and the bratty girl who answered the call was rude and hung up in my face before I even had the chance to apologise. I've only been in Middlesbrough a few times, but if that's what the customer service is like at A1 taxis then I'll more than gladly take an uber.

this is a firm well worth taking into account. have had several journeys and all been on time. far different from previous firm which regularly did not turn up

DO NOT USE STOKESLEY TAXIS!!! Contacted several local taxi companies for Newcastle airport transfers and was impressed with their initial response so booked transfers with them. A day and a half before travelling I contacted them to advise of 20 minute change to flight times. They responded and said they didnt have a driver for the return even though theyd taken my booking a couple of months ago. They werent even going to let me know they had an issue and offered no apology (I have the emails as proof). We would have been left stranded in the early hours of Sunday morning with 3 young children!!! We managed to get transfers with another local company but at an additional cost due to the short notice. Be warned, avoid this company at all costs!!!

went for a bike ride, forgot mobile. Got a puncture and no spare inner tube. walked to the spar hutton rudby who kindly let me use the phone but no one at home so started walking. then a vision arrived in the shape of a silver transit mini bus from Stokesley taxis. i flagged it down and asked how much to Stokesley? £10 was the reply great I said I cant take you I have to pick up a part is there another mini bus? yes but i have to pick up the part I'm not a rocket scientist but taxis pick up fares and take them where they want to go and get paid for it which is what i wanted but no they had to use a transit mini bus to pick up a part for a transit mini bus it must have been a massive part then people wonder why boro taxis are so large they pick up paying fares when they are wanted and go where you want to go imagine that!!! a local firm for local people i think not....i shall be putting boro taxis on my quick dial pathetic

Had a taxi booked that I had booked the day before and it didn't even turn up after an hour of waiting. We tried and tried to call and find out about it but couldn't get through.

Its 5:41am, I just had a driver spam call my number and leave 8 voicemails that were all silent , It says Ive placed an order but it was cancelled due to no payment but I swear on my life I I never even booked this taxi, I have college at 9 and Ive just been woken up to spam calling from a driver , so confused
