The booking was excellent(Rick was very helpful, courteous and beat the lowest quote I had, whilst actually taking note and consideration to arrange an appropriate driver for my elderly father too!)The lovely driver was on time, very helpful,kind and patiently waited and assisted my father too. Will be using again and highly recommended

Yesterday I booked a cab to go to the Heathrow airport in the early hours of the morning and I must say the service was outstanding. The driver was polite, helpful, punctual and drove very safety to my destination. I would definitely use this minicab service again coz the service was excellent.

Driver was horrible & extremely rude

I used this taxi service for nearly 10 yrs and never had any major issues. However in recent times some of the drivers experience was very bad. The worst experience I had when I was charged £14 for luton airport parking when the agreed fee was £34. The driver kept saying he waited in parking, when I know from expereince of ordering cabs to pick up at luton airport over 100 times they park a little out so the heavy parking fees is not payable and only arrive in parkway once spoken to passenger on arrival. The driver was extremely rude and after arguments refused to take money arrogantly. He clearly lied about the wait time. anyways I wanted to pay the money to the driver so I offered him the money to close the argument, but he walked off. We went to the office to pay money and the owner took the £34 plus the £14 parking charges. After using them for 10 years this is was extremely disappointing. I am never going to use this service again.

I've found the various drivers (and even the guy on the phone taking my details) to be consistently rude. Ive used them about 5 times. I dont use them anymore.

There is a particular member of staff, who has driven me twice and both times he used the phrase " that's not my problem" whenever I shared a concern of not reaching to my destination on time or finding the destination. The second time around, prior to picking me up he called me said "You cannot be late before he even reached the pick up address". He dropped me at the side of the street with my two large luggage, knowing that was not the destination I was intending to go to. I travel a lot by cabs/taxis and the drivers would always ride me to the door where I agree to be dropped off. This driver stopped the car and started taking my suitcases out and said "its not my problem you cannot find the door number, this is the postcode". Then he asked for the cash and rushed off for his next "job". I find him extremely rude, I would not recommend getting a ride specially from this driver. Very unpleasant for someone who travels frequently. Ruined my day.

Would give it zero stars if I could! Treated appallingly by both dispatch and the driver... Do not use this firm! A cab we ordered the day previously didn't turn up - it was an hour late and when I called to check on it, the man at dispatch kept hanging up on me. Then when we finally sorted alternative ride and I told the driver when he called, he told me I was a b*tch and wasted his time...

First Fairway & Kenwood experience this morning and we were met with rudeness from the driver. Demanded that we pay the fare upfront and when asked how his day was going, told us he didnt want to talk, an that we should just pay the money and not talk to him. Needs an urgent lesson in people skills.

I'll start with how Fairway & Kenwood responded to my complaint, because that was probably even worse than the initial incident. Over multiple months, I called dozens of times. Each time I was ignored or directed to a dead end. In retrospect, it is clear that this is actually Fairway & Kenwood's strategy in the face of complaints. At some point early in the process, I was told to ask for a man named Leon. When I subsequently called and asked for Leon, I was repeatedly told that he was out the office but would call back. All in all I was probably told this upwards of ten times, but I was never contacted by Leon or the company. Fairway & Kenwood also ignored emails to the email address of the company and Leon. As for the original incident: Fairway & Kenwood picked us up from the airport. We were delayed partly as a result of the flight's late arrival, and partly because of complications relating to medical equipment. Shocking service, turned up late to the airport and then with a car that was too small despite specifically asking for a larger car. Very poor end to a holiday. Will never use again.
