    • I've been a loyal Clock House cars patron for years, however in the last 6 months I've been growing steadily more and more dissatisfied with their "service." A month ago I was left to wait over an hour for a taxi when they sent my pickup to the wrong address. Today I had an emergency dental apt. and booked online the day before and was left stranded with no pickup. Even when I specifiy a standard car they send a 12 person van to pick me up- I have had surgury on my leg and have no hope of leaping up into one of those juggernaughts. No apologies for their ever increasing mistakes either. Just avoid Clockhouse, it isn't worth the aggravation they'll cause you.

    • We used Cannon Cars for the first time yesterday after being let down by 3 Uber drivers and I will definitely be using Cannon Cars again for any future trips I need! Our driver arrived to us as fast as possible and she was so so friendly which made us feel so comfortable the whole journey. Would definitely recommend!

    • They are always late. They are always rude. The drivers are rude and the staff at the office are rude. They showed up 25 minutes late for my kids' school run today. I said I should not pay for such massive delay. The driver became rude and asked me to get off the cab with my kids as young as 1.5 in the middle of the road. Im not using Cannon Cars anymore thats for sure. There are loads more cab companies here with better friendly service.

    • Shocking business. Ordered a car and asked for 2 things. 1 please take us to the airport. 2 please send an air conditioned car. 1st vehicle arrived, and the poor driver was so hot he was wiping himself with a sweat rag. Phoned the company as it was a long journey and was promised an air con car; with the operator sort of yelling back at us, how was she supposed to know there was no air conditioning in the car sent. She did send another car, first said it would arrive in 15 mins, showed up in 35 mins. New driver refused to let us in the car unless we paid him extra for the air conditioning (after the agreed price of £67 he wanted £75). Wouldn't let us in the vehicle until we agreed. Very strange company indeed. Called the company who said we would get a refund on the excess cost we were shaken down for, now says its not their problem and drivers can charge what they like. Would say this is a backyard operation and avoid at all costs. Lucky if a driver should show up at all?!

    • Last night 28/7/2018 at around 3.30am my husband and I asked for a taxi to take us home, the controller was extremely rude and the chairs in the waiting room were very dirty, we asked politely if we could have a cloth th clean the chairs he shouted, “ it is not my job!! We had to stand outside to wait for the taxi whom he had promised that would arrive about 15 minutes to that time then to ask him since he was on the computer he shouted “round the corner”!!! as soon as the taxi arrived, the driver looks at me in a very dirty look and asked me to tell my husband not to bring his food he was eating into his car, I explained to him that he was about to put it away. The driver and the controller need proper customer service training.

    • The driver was rude because he thought we were really drunk. I wasnt drinking tonight and I remember every single thing. He also lied to us repeatedly. Dont trust them. They tell you to pay up front and he wouldnt wait for us to get the cash from our flat but he would wait at the cash point. Makes no sense.

    • DON'T USE THIS FIRM. I was charged £15 for 5 minute drive, and the driver turned up at the wrong address, despite booking in advance. When I asked about the price I was told it was a fixed price, non-negotiable. After paying and clarifying with the office I made the taxi booking with as to why the price was so high, I was dealt with very rudely and not very professionally at all, and had the phone put down on me. I always prefer to use local firms, but I would STEER WELL CLEAR of this company. They are dishonest and very unpleasant to deal with, especially as a single young woman trying to travel safely.
