Taxis in TA2

Car arrived quickly, and friendly driver, but very expensive!! Almost double what we've paid a different company, for same trip. Think claim of very competitive rate, should be removed from website.

I call a taxi with 01823241124 at 5.19pm (1st call) on 6 September using my mobile number 07769484655. We want to go to Royal Ashton Hotel from Queens College. The taxi arrived at about 6pm, the driver charged us 14 Pounds which is more than twice the amount of money usually charged for the same journey. We want to feed back our experience. Far nicer than another local company we tried to call first, who did not want to know.

Much more flexible than another local company and happy to accomodate last minute changes

Tried to prebook a big cab, the larger taxi firms couldn't help so Angel Cabs pulled out all the stops to help...very impressed!

Booked for a return trip the day before and was quoted £38 return. Next day, just 30 mins before the pick-up was due, they called me to say the cost was now £65. I had no option but to go with it as it was too late to find anyone else. Several other people did the same journey (a Hotel to a Wedding Venue and return) and the typical price was £35 - £40. If you use this company, be prepared for their games and to be ripped off by them.
