Top company, have used a couple of times and never had a issue and always on time which makes a change from other companies used!

What an awful experience. Smoky, uncomfortable taxis but the worst points were 1. They didn't turn up when booked in advance- we called and they came late but we were then late for our appointment 2. They charged us nearly double the price quoted on the phone and were completely lacking in concern when we dared to argue about the price. Never again - there are many other good taxi companies around the area

First time trying to use this company and I won't bother again. I called about 1.5 hours before I needed a pick up from our local station and they asked me to pay in advance which I was happy to do but when we got off the train at our local station the taxi wasn't there. I called and was informed that they had just finished a job but were still 15-20 mins away. The walk home takes about the same time so my husband and i just walked home in the pitch black. Rather infuriatingly, I was told I couldn't have a refund straight away and that I would need to call on the next working day to arrange this. Not happy as I paid in advance in good faith so I feel like I have been ripped off.

They are brilliant, timing, car and service quality are 5 star. Our driver Tony, was very polite and he has comfortable driving skill. Thanks for tonight.

No cab company is perfect, but they are I suppose better than walking. Especially when its raining. Or snowing. Or in a blizzard. Or something like that. Actually, or even when its too hot. They have air-con in most of their motors. Yeah OK, that ain't much use in a blizzard. But it is when its hot. Like it was a couple of weeks back. All sorts of drivers though. Some are stupid, some are OK. I spose much like any other cab company. But, unlike the previous review, I would use them again, but I wont recommend them to anyone, as if I do, they might get too busy and I might not get a cab myself.

We had a pleasant journey from Bradwell Marina to Sandwich JL Taxi was clean, accommodating and helpful and a nice guy to chat to Good calm standard of driving. Reasonable rates. Thanks for your service

Absolutely awful! Booked tonight at 10pm for a taxi for 12pm! For a taxi from Maldon to tiptree was told the price of £26 however they Turned up 40 minuites late and told us £40. Absolutely shocking service, taxi driver was unfriendly and rude. DO NOT USE!

Pre-ordered a taxi several days ahead (and confirmed electronically by the taxi firm)) for five people going to our annual Xmas party in Ipswich. First pick up 6.00 in Wivenhoe, three further local pick-ups for 7.00 arrival to outskirts of Ipswich. No taxi arrived by 6.30 and when approached their very unhelpful attendant stated ' but we are very busy '. I phoned again 5 mins. later only to be told again 'very busy' ! We had no choice but to cancel the taxi and drive ourselves to the venue. Utterly unacceptable behaviour from an irresponsible business. We did get the pre-arranged after midnight service home after checking that during the evening that this was actually going to turn up. Ancient taxi arrived, appeared to be devoid of good lighting and no sat nav facility. The driver was ok. As a result of this we had to arrange transport the following morning to collect our vehicles from the venue. Don't go near them, they completely weigh up 'what's wrong with the modern world'

DO NOT USE! I booked two taxis with at least four weeks in advance. They had taken money out of my account prior to this as well. In my eyes, this would mean your taxi is secure, but how wrong I was. Our first taxi was meant to be with us at half six, after four phone calls, the taxi FINALLY arrived at 7.10, 40 minutes late! There was no apology at all from the man on the phone. I then had prebooked a taxi for 10.30pm, at 10.15, they messaged to say they had a busy service and just deleted my taxi. With no warning, or with no other option. Utterly disgraceful service, will never be using again.

Booked a Cab online at 12.30 for 18.30 that night. Got a text at 18.04 telling me that the cab was cancelled due to high demarnd. How is this the case when I booked 6 hours prior. Fuming. Called 543210 (hawaii 5-0 cabs) and came in 10 minutes

Had a taxi booked with all the 8s in April to take and collect us from Stansted in August. A few week before we were due to be picked up we had an email saying the company has been taken over . We were concerned as we have never had a taxi to an airport, They were brilliant on time for pick up . We were concerned as flight delayed 2 hours from Turkey on arrival home and worried they wouldnt be there. We literally got a text and within 2 minutes of waiting in section B Dave was there, Thanks and would deffo recommend them

Well what can I say? I had fantastic service when with Alan like nothing was too much and the rest of the gang who are amazing. Since being taken over Im shocked how much they lie. They take on journeys they know they cannot do and they dont turn up when they are supposed to. When I have to book it earlier because they are late and still late makes me wonder Honestly it is not too hard to book something and promise and keep to it than being money hungry to get more clients in and sending them to another job when they are supposed to be picking me up.

As a taxi service the car was on time however the body odour of the driver made the journey very uncomfortable. I wouldnt use them again

I have used this company for years when it was owned by Alan. The new owners are terrible and unreliable. They accept every job that comes in knowing full well they will be late or not turn up. Twice I have booked them to pic me up form Braintree station and both times. I have been the last person at the station as they haven't stuck to the time, or bothered to call and say they will be late. They have made out the are waiting for me, made out traffic is delayed even made out they were dropping off at the station which were all lies. As a result and waiting 10, 15 and 20 minutes I have had to walk home. Not once did they call , not once did they apologize. Terrible cab company. Bring back alan !!!

I would recommend your cabbie for all your needs especially airports, very professional friendly polite drivers, never late always at least 15 minutes early.

After my 85 year old Mum got stranded and then rather lost in Chelmsford after the 2 hourly bus service was cancelled, by chance asked My Cabbie driver directions, was told he was actually going near where she lived to do a pick up, he brought her all the way home to her front door at no charge, would like to thank him very much for helping her, very rare these days!

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL - LEFT STRANDED . Booked 2 return journeys (one Friday, one Saturday) to go to Creamfields music festival in June. Booked at the end of April. Confirmed all details (pick up times/locations, no.of pax) with the driver 3 days before the event. He said he had a driver off with Covid, I asked if there was a possibility of letting us down - was told all would defo be OK. He turned up on the first day in a vehicle for 8 - we were 10. Then he told us he wouldn't be doing the return journey - for both days. When asked why, he told us he had a couple of airport runs (obvs sacked us off to do those instead). When asked what he thought we were going to do to get home, he said we could get a cab off the venue's rank. The whole reason for booking in advance was precisely to avoid having to wait in the rank queue. Had to scrabble around to get another cab company to get the 2 extra passengers into Chelmsford and to get home on both days. All round nightmare.

Drivers need to learn how indicators work! And remember what the speed limit is on Broomfield Road... It's 30mph...

My family have used 'Your Cabbie' for over a year now and would just like to say a big thank you to them for always going the extra mile and for providing such excellent service. Nothing ever seems to much trouble even at short notice, the vehicles are always clean and the drivers always polite.
