The Hestercombe Gardens Trust is an independent charitable trust. We rely on our dedicated team of volunteers and all proceeds from admissions, membership, retail and events to support the continued restoration, maintenance and development of the gardens. Famous for our unique collection of gardens which span three centuries of garden history and design, our Formal Garden is hailed as one of the finest examples of the world-renowned partnership between garden designer Gertrude Jekyll and architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Hestercombe House and Gardens has undergone acclaimed restoration works and continues to develop and grow giving our visitors a stunning setting to explore, learn and relax.

We have a well-stocked garden shop with lots of seasonal products just right for your garden. With a lovely view over the Blackdown hills, you can sit and relax and enjoy some tasty home-made food Our staff have a wide experience in aquatics and can offer their knowledge to help you make the right choice. Our aquatic on-line shop lists a wide range of products that we sell. If you still can't find what you are looking for, then please give us a call. We have a well-stocked plant area that changes with the seasons. Our pet shop is now in the main shop building, just turn right as you enter the main doors. We have a wide range of products suitable for most domestic pets and birds and even for the small holding keeper - we even have food for your chickens. Our wildbird section has a good range of feeders and all sorts of seed. You can park just outside and if you live near Wellington or Taunton or the surrounding area just pop-in and see what we have in store.
