I'm a property landlord and its always good to know a decent plumber. I have been using A & E Plumbing for 10+ years now and i have never had an issue with them. The work they have done in my property's range from new boilers, gas safety certificates, plumbing repairs and so much more. The work is always good and they staff are really friendly and helpful. This business deserve 5 stars without a doubt! Cheers for all the work you have done over the years.

A & E Plumbing & Heating have been working with us for 10 years. He is extremely approachable and doesn't make you feel silly when you try to describe the problem to him he asks lots of questions and is very efficient in getting the problem solved! He is also exceptionally clean and tidy and always uses dust sheets so not to make a mess anywhere. He is very honest and will let you know the exact issue so you don't spend money unnecessarily. I recommend him all the time to my friends and family.

We called Mr Cox on Friday evening with problem concerning oil boiler and he called us on Saturday morning and came out to fix the problem shortly after 10:00 am - he was very professional and I would recommend him and use him again.

Did a gas safety check and found a lot of faults and fixed them.

We had a gas leak and called them they were quick to respond and sorted the problems.

Mark was here within the hour of our call to help us with a blocked toilet at our work premises. He was friendly, genuine and gave advice with regards to an issue he couldn't help us with. Would definately recommend and will use him again in the future.

Called at 11.30, came out within 30 mins and fixed the job in under 20 mins. Great service and great price too. Mark was lovely guy and Im just so grateful that there are still some genuine professionals that come and do a great job and dont take advantage price wise with your emergencys. Called Mark out to repair a burst pipe on a Saturday night. Turned up within the hour and fixed it at a very reasonable price. Excellent service from a real gentleman. I could not recommend Mark highly enough.

Just a simple toilet blockage after all, yet he came over straight away even at the distance and cleared it up without a hitch. Knows what he's doing. Great service and nice guy aswell let alone great price.

We had a complicated boiler replacement involving replacing gas pipes across a stone floor in a small business so could not afford to run behind scehdule. Other quotes suggested running pipes around the skirting which we didn't want. J&E MacGregor started and finished in less than 4 days with minimum fuss for such a dirty job and concealed the pipes under the floor. Everything was done to estimate, on time and to a high standard. We have already used them again for another job with exactly the same professional results. We highly recommend them and thank Euan for keeping in touch and checking constantly that we were happy with the job.

I found J & E MacGregor to be an extremely good firm of plumbers to work with. Having used the company before I had no hesitation in going back to them when I needed to replace my boiler. I found them to be extremely friendly as well as being very reliable, punctual and clean and tidy. I would certainly have no hesitation in using the company again and would thoroughly recommend them to one and all.

Very competitive quote out of the 4 that we originally got from various companies. Work commenced on time in a professional manner; all tools and excess neatly tidied away at the end of each day, wouldn't know that they had been round. Efforts made to ensure that hot water available every night throughout. Minor issue towards the end was sorted out quickly with no quibbles and kept well informed at all stages. Highly recommended and would use again.”

Family member was badly let down by this company at this difficult time. Whiterose Plumbing agreed to investigate and fix a bathroom leak that was dripping into neighbors property. Combination of no shows and general inaction over a two week period from initial inspection contributed to neighbours ceiling partially collapsing with water build up. Should note that same company had actually installed a new boiler on previous occasion to a good standard. Reliability and follow through is crucial for emergencies!
