Sue and her team are excited to welcome you to the White Horse Free House a family friendly pub/restaurant nestled in the village of Wareside Hertfordshire. The White Horse offers a selection of home cooked meals including traditional Greek dishes. Sue is of Greek origin and together with her Chef who has over 30 years of experience they have created a mouth-watering menu. The menu includes dishes such as the classic Lamb Kleftiko - Lamb which is cooked slowly with garlic, tomatoes and herbs and simply falls off the bone, the meat moussaka, the vegetarian moussaka the Meze for two or more people and of course who can resist the Greek sweet pastries. We have a purpose built fallen stock trailer and they carry sufficient screens so that more than one equine casualty can be attended to simultaneously. We work closely with vets and over the years have built up an enviable reputation regularly covering many Point-to-Points and other horse events especially in the South of England. Our rates are competitive, yet we are contactable and available 24/7 - 24 hours a day, every day. The reason? We love horses and know how to care for them.
