On 24th September 2024 I needed to transport a dining table & four chairs within Leighton Buzzard but the items were too bulky for my car. I contacted this company through the Bee Local Magazine & this entitled me to a 10% discount on an already reasonable price. They were friendly, local, punctual & very efficient & took great care of the furniture throughout. It was a seamless process & any concerns or worries I had with the task itself were very quickly dispelled by their professionalism

We have used Move It on three occasions in the last few months and I honestly cant fault them. All three teams were professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The billing was always explained to us at the end of each occasion and I felt the cost was always very good value for money. I highly recommend Move It if you need a van and a team of two

Rented a truck from Seymour Hire this week and have to say that the team is very professional from beginning to end. During our rental we had an unforeseen issue which was dealt with very quickly and with total care from all at Seymour Hire. I would happily recommend Dorset Vehicle Rentals, Dorchester, to anyone looking to rent a van, I've used them before and the service was fantastic so I didn't hesitate to use them again. My mum actually recommend them to me as she'd heard such good things. I was moving from Southampton to Plymouth, but rather than use a local firm I used Dorset Vehicle Rental because of their great service. John went above and beyond to find me the right van, which was 7.5 tonnes, and it was ready and waiting for me on the day.

I have been using Dorset Vehicle Rentals a while now and hire from them on a weekly basis. The service is very stress free and easy to use, the staff there are very thorough and are able to supply a vehicle at short notice without any issues. I would have no trouble in recommended their services to others.

This was the first time I've used Dorset Vehicle Rentals and I was extremely happy with their service. I hired a car from them and whilst we were loading it found that my mothers wheelchair wouldn't fit in the back. They were so accommodating and swapped the car for a more suitable one and went through all the new paperwork with no bother what so ever. I would use them again in the future and also recommend them for their good service.

I cant praise Dorset Vehicle Rentals enough, I've been using then for the past 20-30 years. They are the only place that hires out a van with a tow bar which is so handy. Every time I go in the staff are always the same people and are brilliant, I think that says a lot about a company if the staff have been their a long time. They are very accommodating at short notice and generally provide a fantastic service. I couldn't recommend them more.

My daughter hired a van from this company. The hand brake was faulty and it rolled on her driveway causing expensive damage to her sons car and minor damage to the bumper on the front of the van. They would not admit liability and charged for the damage to the bumper and threw in some “damage” above the rear wheel for good measure. Thankfully she had paid a £15 excess charge when hiring, or they could have fleeced her for more than the £300 they did. Do not hire a van from this company, unless you are willing to pay for any damage they can make up on return. Reported to Trading Standards.

Absolute con artists. Hire a van from this company at your peril - they will invent damage and charge you, despite photographic evidence in your favour. Despicable company. Never again.

Taking these con people to court. I took pictures of the van when we left it. They then claimed damage on an estimate and charged me. Offered to show them photos but no they are not interested. Reported to traiding standards as well So in summery, they can make any claim for damages and you have no come back even if you have pictures. Its your money so risk it at your own cost.
