Has looked after 4 of our dogs for the last 11 years. Shes kind, knowledgeable and extremely sensible when it comes to treating oldies. Weve had 2 say good bye to 2 of them and shes handled it brilliantly. On top of all this shes really fair with prices. I wouldnt use anyone else.

On the 15th July 2016 we had to have our 16 year old cross collie put to sleep. I chose Mrs Bendelow as I had visited her once before. She arranged a time between opening hours so the surgery was empty, welcomed us personally and made a fuss of the dog. She talked us through the whole process and encouraged us to cuddle and stroke our dog. Once the deed was done she gave us time to say goodbye and didn't rush us out of the door. She made an awful experience more bearable.

Staff very friendly. Treatment rooms and waiting rooms are small but overall a very good professional service. Plenty of parking spaces in the large car park situated opposite.

Only happy to sell products rather than try find underlying issues

I love my dogs like they were my children and I would not put the life of my dogs if sick in anyone else's hands , but the team at cambridge road vets . They are fantastic and with out a doubt completely dedicated , to the well being of the pets in ellesmereport .WELL DONE TO THEM ALL .

The light of my life went to Chorley yesterday for a lump removal near his eye. Firstly the reception staff were friendly and accommodating and then we were booked in by the most lovely nurse Fiona. My German shepherd is very anxious and Fiona made him feel at ease and . I was very anxious too and Fiona helped amazingly. Tony Gilbert was the vet doing the op who kept me updated and called me after the surgery explaining everything. I collected Elijah and again everyone was helpful and happy. We saw a lovely nurse again that discharged Elijah. Sorry I don't know your name but thank you. Sharon looked after Elijah while he was there he came out calm and very well cared for. The whole experience was a good one for myself and Elijah. Thank you so much everyone and Jerome for aspirating the lump in the first place. Elijah has been with pinewood his whole life and is now nearly 11. He wouldn't be here without all the vets at pinewood. Especially Christina the angel, Tony and Jerome.

I took my puppy here in September for injections. They did the first injection and charged me for ALL injections up front. Two weeks late I arrived for second appointment and the vet takes him away then returns "I am sorry we don't have the vaccine solution" but it's ok he can come back and have it with his next injections. So 3 weeks later I call back and they say oh you have left it too late, the vaccines have to be done exactly 4 weeks later. you will have to pay again and start all injections. I asked for a summary of this in email they said they were too busy, but might be able to email me if they have time... If the timings of these appointments are so important then the business should PRE book this instaed of asking you to call back later to book. They even said that "I should have researched the vaccines myself and if I had then I would have known this".

Gave them excellent care, wormed them and seemed to get the dosages spot on. One of them had an old wound from a previous home and he fully assessed it and removed some necessary loose tissue. He also managed to spot an old dog bite on the other and i couldn't have spotted it at all! Really seemed to care. They dont cost the earth either i spent 50 and got them both registered, fully checked over and given worming medication for it.

My kitten was looked after and given treatment, friendly vets who look their pets! Prices for treatments are not sky high either!

Brilliant vets they removed a large lump on my dogs tail , it is now fully healed they did not try to sell me anything else, I also asked for his ears and teeth to be cleaned at the same time ,I now have a much happier dog.They were not judgemental and I thought the price was very cheap for the the work undertaken. The staff were nice and friendly too. If your pet has any ailments do not hestitate to take them , it will save you lots of worry, we were out of our minds with worry and now our boy is no longer suffering we are all so happy.

Were fantastic. But now taken over by a large chain of vets, and Im told the original staff have left. I signed up with the Laurels four years ago after poor service when my previous vet was also taken over by that chain. Im sure the new outfit are ok for basics, but personally Ill be looking elsewhere. Again.

I would take an ant there. They are so so rude and judgmental and the prices are a lot higher than most vets in the area. The old ladies at the reception desk give out their uneducated opinions out too freely. Maybe the HR department should not employ Karens in future.

Good place to get pet health check up done, cost is also low.

Modern building that's clean a well presented. Reception is relaxed and friendly, although a little cluttered. I cannot fault the vets. They are down to earth, kept me up to date with costs and there was no hard sell; quite the opposite, which was very refreshing. Easily 5 Stars

Shocking. My friend tortoise got attacked by a fox and a lady found it who then handed it to another person that would take it to this Vets. They put the animal to sleep for being a 'stray and injured' without giving the owner a chance to reunite. When the Owner turned up at the clinic She gets told that her beloved pet has been put to sleep. The tortoise wounds appeared treatable. I don't believe this practice should be seeing exotic pets if they can't offer care in emergency situations. This pet should have been referred instead of been put to sleep . Absolutely appalling. My friend and her children are absolutely devastated

Hadnt visited since 2020 - now owned by a larger company so prices seem to have rocketed. Very unprofessional from my experience. Would not recommend now.

Uncaring unprofessional Manged to cut my dog more than one ce while clipping him to be sedated then have the cheek to blame it on his skin condition also ask permission to do a Scan which was authorised but did not do it Avoid at all costs

Helen is the vet we always see and she has been amazing. Cannot comment on the others as I've always made a point of seeing her. 10/10 vet

Excellent service from Excellent vets, throughout the pandemic they continued to see us & our pets. My parents started going there when they opened & I have continued to go with all my pets. As have my son and all of his pets. Brilliant
