Redlibbets Golf Club is named after the ancient woodland landscape, which is home to the course. The name is a corruption of the sixteenth century "Le Lyvet" or Leveret" - the young hare which appears in our badge. Redlibbets Golf Club was officially opened in the summer of 1997. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength, providing our members, guests and visitors with a wonderful opportunity to play the sport in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We were established in 1912 and are a traditional private members golf club offering a spacious hall for hire, with character and style, providing stunning views over our magnificent golf courses, Hainault Forest and beyond. It is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding, engagement party, anniversary, birthday, christening, wake, committee meeting, business meeting, seminar or conference, and provides two fully licenced bars. The hall is suitable for seating up to 75 guests or 150 standing, and also has a dance floor area. We have a large garden area with adequate seating and tables for the summer months, and can provide catering for all types of functions including finger buffets, sea food platters, curries and traditional three course meals.
