R G Associates is run by Raymond Glew FRICS, a Chartered Building Surveyor and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Practising since 1972, Ray (only ever called Raymond by his wife and mother and when in trouble) was elected a Professional Associate as they were then called in 1974 and a Fellow in 1986. All Chartered Surveyors have to pass examinations and undergo a period of approved training before being allowed to use the Chartered designation. Ray has spent his entire professional career in private practice and worked for both large and small companies. Recently he spent three years on secondment to a Housing Association client as their main technical support.

We carry out detailed surveys of houses of all ages and sizes and our experience spans Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Inter-War, Post-War and even new builds. We are based in Hucknall but happy to survey properties throughout the Midlands. We have a wealth of experience in providing a range of surveys and reports for properties. All of our property surveys are undertaken by one of our chartered surveyors and are in accordance with current surveying practices approved by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We adopt a personal approach with our clients, happily discussing our survey findings on the phone to provide another level of understanding and reassurance. We can respond quickly to instructions and have the work ethic and flexibility to attend at properties outside normal working hours, including weekends.
