gary did an excellent job on our driveway. the work was completed on time and on budget. happy to recommend him.

After doing a couple of great jobs I booked them again for June 2021. Rang to confirm start date and got no reply. Kept trying left messages but nothing. Now given up!

I was very happy with the new patio put in by T&R Paving Ltd. Tom came round to our house and gave us a free quote then was able to book the job in a couple of weeks later! Great timing as the end of the summer. The team needed to lift a Wendy house and quite a lot of garden furniture off an existing (rotting) decking but they did it! Once the decking was gone, they identified a problem with the damp course at the back of the house and set out my options to treat it (which they also did). They cleared the old wooden decking we bought with the house (and all the rubbish which someone had dumped underneath it). They then put the new patio in, including a new brick feature flowerbed. All in less than three days (Thursday to Saturday). The team were able to meet our needs including helping to move furniture back onto the new patio a couple of weeks later. They used quality materials and ensured proper drainage. I wanted a quality job for a family home and they delivered - thank you!

I don't even want to give this company 1 star. There work is shabby & like other people do not want to come back to remedy there shabby work. Avoid like the plague.

"Tom and his team were great the job was completed quickly leaving the yard clean and tidy. The workmen were friendly and polite, It has made our outdoor space look so much larger it will be lovely to sit outside and enjoy the outdoor space now. Within a few months of completion, our driveway started sprouting. Now 18 months later it is literally covered in grass and weeds of various types. It is embarassing! My neighbours on both sides had their drives paved over 10 years ago but do not have anywhere near the carpet of green we have. I have called, texted, emailed and sent pictures of the terrible state of my drive, regularly since June 8th but T&R will not come round despite assurances that they would. They know they have done a terrible job but do not care. They have stopped responding. If you want my advice: avoid this company like the plague. Their sales patter about the quality of their work and their 10 year guarantee is worthless and untrue. I am very frustrated having to contemplate getting my drive completely relaid having paid out a lot of money 18 months ago!

Felix and his team were absolutely fantastic from the initial contact and throughout. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted - only a 'blank canvass' for my garden which included some repairs to walls, new steps and paving, and replacing lawn with decorative stones. Felix worked with me to shape the new look, and was flexible when I added new ideas to the mix. When the team turned up it was incredible how quickly they worked - not at any detriment to quality however - it was like a well oiled machine had turned up at my house! The work is amazing, the team is amazing, the value is amazing! I felt in totally safe hands throughout. I have already recommended Armoured Drives to many people who are looking for similar work done on different scales, and would 100% go to Felix for any future work I need. Simply cannot recommend them highly enough

These lads really know their stuff.Less than two days to remove existing front garden and then block pave the entire area to a very high standard.Hard working staff,cleared away every bit if rubbish and left no mess at all.Thank you for a fantastic job and would highly recommend.

The Armoured Drives team are very reliable and completed a fantastic job for me. Prior to getting in contact with Felix and Frank, I had unfortunately agreed work with a different company who messed me about for 4 months and left me with a worse drive than I started with, minus my deposit! Felix, Frank, and the team were very kind and reassuring as they understood how bad an experience I had with the other company. Frank came to assess the situation and explained exactly what they needed to do to get the driveway I wanted. He outlined the work that needed doing and why. They kindly slotted me in over the August bank holiday (because they felt sorry for how bad my drive was!!). I didn't have to pay a penny until the work was completed. They always showed up when they said they would and the men were constantly working when they were here. I have a large driveway and they sorted everything out in a few days. I love it, my home looks complete now! Thank you very much!

"Alex and the team worked incredibly hard and fast doing my block paving driveway. In addition to the driveway, they put up a gate for me, some raised beds, laid a garden path and a large expanse of concrete for a shed and greenhouse base. They cleared a load of rubbish out the garden too. All in about 5 days Alex understood my vision of what I wanted, and he and his men were at the house from 8.30am until they lost the light at 5pm working flat out; all very pleasant and helpful. Hi. I live in Cheadle Hulme and contacted A. W. Paving Ltd. for an estimate on my driveway. They came straight away, gave and emailed me the estimate. It was the best one so I gave them the job. They arrived on time and were very clean and professional. The work was finished on time. My partner and I are estatic about are new wall, patio and driveway. We would Highly recommend them, with 6 stars if we could, to anyone who wants their driveway doing. Many thanks guys.

I most certainly would not have them do a job on my property They laid a tarmac drive for a neighbour across the road, they Used a picker on a small digger to remove the concrete, at one point they were picking up massive lumps of concrete with the digger then dropping them on the ground to break them up the houses were shaking, they should have broken the concrete into small pieces with the picker first. they knocked the neighbours wall down and there were cracks down the wall in other places which they refused to accept responsibility for, a skilled tradesman would have cut down the concrete with a skill saw adjacent to the wall, before breaking it up , on the plus side they did rebuild part of the wall, but my neighbour told me they refused to acknowledge they had caused cracks further on

I would not use them again, they ripped up my concrete drive by removing massive chunks with a digger, then threw it to the ground to break it, they should have Jack hammered it into smaller pieces , the whole house was shaking, they cracked a dividing wall because they couldnt be bothered to skill saw the concrete adjacent to it before taking up the concrete

After being fobbed off for many weeks and lack of communication we decided to go with another company. Office staff are rude and the customer service is seriously lacking.

Requested a quote several months ago. Advised them several months ago that the work had been authorised. Spoke to the same person who gave quote on his mobile. He passed me off to the office, only to be met with a very rude and ignorant female, who clearly does not enjoy her job. Long story short I went to another company, several months ago who came and did the job within a week. Several months later I get a call from D Haigh, asking about the drop kerb, ( same rude female as before) I advised said work was carried out several months ago. Same rude woman replied, "YOU COULD HAVE LET US KNOW" before hanging up on me. You snooze you lose. Terrible service.
