We are traditional master butchers and licensed game dealers and supply pheasant, partridge and venison. Born and bred in Dorchester and with over 35 years experience in the Meat Trade both wholesale and retail, owner and proprietor Stuart Jury will be pleased to help you choose and cut meat to your requirements. Stuart started his career at DIY wholesale butchers in Winterbourne Abbas,and learnt the cutting and serving skills required. He then moved to Quantock Veal on the Poundbury industrial etstate and was there for over 9 1/2 years. He then moved to Case & Sons in Shaftesbury and learnt about Injection cured bacon, on its closure he moved to SJ Normans in Bridport, and worked in there Retail Shop, From there he moved to Denhay Farms in Broadoak and then to there new plant in Honiton and learnt about Dry cured bacon and Air Dried Ham. He returned back to SJ Normans and ran there retail shop for over 8 years and then had the opportunity to open his own shop in Dorchester town centre. With help from family and friends he was able to open at the beginning of December 2013 and was able to serve quite a few customers with their Christmas meat.
