Excellent experience. This garage has looked after my Volvo regular service and repairs, and have kept it in perfect condition for all my needs. I have completed several long journeys of 2000km+ accros Europe, and the car worked perfectly, no doubt in good part due to the work by the mechanics at Clerkenwell motors.

Sav and the team look after my 30 year old VW T25 and are excellent. They know their way around old VW vans and I've always had superb service and very honest prices for a central London garage. I don't go anywhere else.

Maypole Motors provides a 24/7/365 breakdown and recovery service. I was in a position to see this first hand. Then when I saw the work being carried out in the workshop, I was extremely impressed. Finally, their website reflects just how proactive this company is. Who else lets you book an MOT on-line? Bertie the Hyundai will be MOTed by Maypole Motors.

Been at this garage many time and cannot fault the staff, their professionalism and the fact they can explain in detail (so a Luddite can understand) whatever work has been carried out. Darren Sparks communicates effectively and asks if want extra work carried out. He will also NOT allow release of unsafe cars on the road unless you sign a declaration that your are aware your car is unsafe. Secondly, just looking at their website made me sit back and think - wow, they really are proactive. Book your MOT on-line. I'm booking mine for next year. Thank you

I've experienced at first hand the hard work and over-time the guys at the Maypole garage do. They have always been professional, courteous and when I have any questions regarding work undertaken, I have found Darren Sparks to be polite, not patronising and happy to go that little extra to ensure customer satisfaction. I've seen a couple of negative comments on here which is hardly the correct forum to complain. At least word of mouth is listened to and I always recommend Maypole. Shame a few more people don't leave more positive comments. I would like to say Thank You anyway - and I will make sure my car is booked in for the next year MOT. On a separate note, your website is fantastic and gives a great portal for access to your services. I think the website reflects the proactive and efficient nature of the garage.

I took my car to Maypole motors for a blown head gasket repair. It took them 8 weeks to repair the car. They caused more damage to the engine while they were fixing it that increased the quote by 50%. The whole experience with Maypole was very unpleasant. The service is very poor and their staff is very unprofessional, rude and incompetent. They were not apologetic at all about the whole situation. They promised me a discount but the final quote was so increased that I ended up to pay £300 more even after the “discount”. I recommend to avoid them especially for major repairs as they seem very inexperienced.

Fitted new rear suspension arm but it now squeaks.

My car would not start called AMBC Mobile Motor Services Michael came out plugged in a very nice scan tool and five minutes later told me that I needed a new crank sensor explained what it did then he went away and got a new one and fitted it and charged me a fair price very happy with his work and the fact he Took the time to explain everything to me
